Fuck, enough of this. Someone tried to kill him, they killed someone else. The only thing suspicious is that it seemed like the police and secret service were giving the shooter a fair try first.

The shooter was like any other shooter. A bit too full of himself, a loser. He wasn't looking to target Trump specifically, but some top dog, and Trump was the closest. Trump got nicked by something (not the bullet), and nothing that occurred in those moments appeared unusual... other than the odd anti-DEI stuff from the far-right, which seemed insane seeing Trump was shot at... and that was what they were emoting in memes.
You want to go Parallax View with this, that is your choice. But, it feels a bit like the WTC 7 intentional collapse argument from 9/11 Truthers. The conspiracy hinges on Trump bleeding, but just a littler? And that the shooter either was better than advertised or that there was a second shooter?

… the fact that his motives were never explained or even explored, the fact that he was allowed to get to where “my grandmother would have made that shot”, the fact that they killed him summarily (the least surprising thing - the kid shoukd have known) and the fact that it was just what the doctor ordered for Cheato … and many more questions.
I give it about a 20% chance that it was as described by the Trump admin, 20% that it was purely a well-planned sympathy generator and 60% it was something else. And a 99% chance I won’t live long enough to learn the truth.

Are you desiring rational reasons for him to do what he did? He had searched itineraries of bother Biden and Trump. He wanted to make a statement. He was a mediocre shot, so him missing the intended target is certainly not surprising. I'd be confused as to why the second shooter would target the hydraulics of the cherry picker. Finally, Biden was President. It'd be his Administration lying about the shooting.
There are enough lies floating out there from this Administration that we don't need to make up our own.

I don’t have a “theory” (crackpot hypothesis) to explain the available facts. But I am quite certain that the official explanations are less than forthright and that info is still being withheld.
FFS, this administration NEVER provides more than the required grain of truth in ANY of its stories. Do you disagree?

A second shooter is implicit as there is no evidence the actual shooter was competent enough to pull off the attempt. The outcome was bell curve for the person's competency with the weapon, as there is no evidence he was very competent. Why in the world would a conspiracy use a person that 30/70 with a weapon?
The available facts are sufficient to think this was another bell curve attempted act of violence.
Biden was President at the time. If there was any reason to hold back details, it was the clusterfuck that was the protection guard that day. Had the person been competent, he'd been successful. It was an outright security failure across the board.

Ain't that the truth. It takes sheer bobbers to miss from 100 yards away with a scoped rifle. Back in the day when I was in the army, we were still using iron sights and it was nearly impossible to miss the target. It wasn't until the 250+ yard mark that things became much more challenging.
The guy was a nut job who didn't know how to handle a weapon. That's where the story about him begins and ends.
As an aside, my youngest daughter visited the site of the JFK assassination and said, "I could've made that shot" referring to Oswald's position in the book depository. The distance on film compared to real life can be very deceptive, which makes it overwhelmingly likely that no second shooter was needed. But at least it was entertaining to hear that there's a conspiracy theory going around about there being a second shooter in the issue being discussed. That would mean two severely incompetent dummies missed a fat stationary target.
