How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Realism hits fervent ukraine supporer.
Let me know when you get to Kiev. If you’re still around.
Why are you asking me? ask the the author of that article.
I did. I read it earlier this week. He still doesn’t counter the basic arithmetic that even though you advance each month, it’s at a glacial pace. And neither have you. You just rant. In the meantime Russia continues to decline and lose soldiers for nothing.

Do you have some kind of brain disorder which causes you to forget everything after few seconds?

And you have indeed failed to say precisely how much of Ukraine you’ve captured per month in the past 6 months

We have captured shitload of towns and villages in the last 6 months.
We are close to expelling nazi scum from all of Donbas

I've noticed many articles lately of Russian milbloggers reporting on the bullshit Russian military command sends to Putin about advances on the frontline. They sarcastically call them "beautiful reports". I'm glad it's coming from Russian milbloggers.
Right now it looks like the Russians are getting their ass handed to them near Lyman, so says ISW.

also...

the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Legal Affairs Committee has provided a legal framework for the transfer of the frozen €210 in Russian assets to Ukraine. There is a full assembly vote at the end of the month. Hopefully this will assuage Brussels concerns about the transfer.

furthermore...

Moldova has been so busy complying with the requirements to join the EU that the European Commission had to put extra people on the job to observe the progress.

and the hits just keep on coming...

Ukrainian drones set a new distance record for blowing shit up in Russia with a strike on a gas condensate plant 3,300 km away.

also know...

that Russia has spent 44% of it's federal budget on military needs in the first half of 2026. A 30% surge over the first half of 2025.
I'm no economist but it looks like there is a cascading effect happening with Russia's economy in that payments are getting deferred. This from United24.

and lastly...

Hungary, the been there done that, we learned our lesson former far right country continues to repair ties with the EU in complying with the Rule of Law Conditionality Regulation. This unlocks some funds for Hungary and welcomes researchers and students back into EU educational programmes where minds can be molded in western ways.

Are you sayind that Russia spends less money they they planned? Considering that Clown Hitler in Kiev just told his handlers that he had already spent all the money allocated for 2026.

Nazi piece of shit wasted all that money on drones he sent to Moscow. 99% of them failed to reach their targets and Russia got excuse to bomb the shit out of Ukrainian infrastructure which we are doing.

A shitload? I confess I am unfamiliar with that term’s precise definition.

And you’ve been saying you’re close for 4 years now. How many more years before you think you’ll conquer them finally?

How much of Iran you were able to capture?
considering that you were expelled from ME bases.
How many times do I have to tell you that we do not use your stupid metric?
We will liberate Ukraine and then publicly execute all your scum.

The US still has refineries, Amazon warehouses, an no wait at the gas station. That's a metric you should try.

Same here. Ukraine, on the other hand, has no economy to speak of.
As for you, you have no functional navy and lost your precious hegemony.
All you have left is hope that by some miracle China collapses under your stupid sanctions

The Russian army is unable to effectively deploy its weapons in the Oleksandrivka sector due to the large number of Ukrainian FPV drones and is being forced to restrict its use of military equipment.

This was stated in an interview with Ukrinform by Serhii Kolesnychenko, an officer with the communications section of the 148th Separate Zhytomyr Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

“The enemy has enough weapons to conduct intensive offensive operations. They have artillery, armored vehicles and a large number of unmanned systems. At the same time, they face difficulties in using these weapons effectively. Because the battlefield is saturated with Ukrainian FPV drones, the enemy is forced to limit the use of equipment that cannot reach the line of contact within 15 kilometers,” Kolesnychenko said.

According to him, once Russian military equipment enters the kill zone, it is immediately targeted and destroyed by FPV drones operated by Ukrainian forces. As a result, Russian forces are being forced to disperse their equipment and rely increasingly on long-range strike capabilities, including unmanned systems.

It's a bit less than a shit ton, and a touch more than a butt load.

However, in this case I suspect a translation issue; What was meant was "Reports that we have captured towns and villages in the last 6 months are a load of shit".

Hope that helps. ;)
