They're building a new aquarium, it's gonna be a great aquarium, the best aquarium anyone's ever seen...
Should be: Vote for me and I will build a new aquarium, it's gonna be a great aquarium, the best aquarium anyone's ever seen...
Too late SLD, by a minute. Sorry.

WAB wins with the lyrical tribute to Trump! A couple of good other ones though.

You go girl.
I'm a male.
It is used as a figure of speech in Australia. Equivalent to "your turn".

Apologies for the faux pas.
Ah. I thought my avatar was the cause of the mistake. I'm not bothered or offended in the least, by the way, just thought I'd clarify. ☺

ETA: I've heard the expression " you go, girl!" a hundred thousand times over the years, but never directed at a guy. If only you Australians would stop being silly and saying silly things and talking funny, the world could all join hands and sing together in perfect harmony.

Probably never going to happen.

Perhaps we were OK with gender fluidity before it was cool.

I have sat down to a table of 70something women and said "Hi guys." many a time.

I've said "guys" when referring to a group of women, or mixed men and women, elderly as well as kids, but I would never, ever say, "Go ask that guy over there..." when referring to a woman.

Also, we say "You go, girl" when we are complimenting a woman on something or offering encouragement, and it is never used to say, "Your turn", or "You're next".

But really, who the fuck cares? I was trying to be humorous with my last post.

***Spare me one of your lectures, bilby. I don't give a flying fuck, and I will be the ignoring this thread. 😋
