If 50% voter turnout, Repubs win. If 55%, Dems win. Anything higher than 60%, and possibly the end of the GOP or at least rendering them irrelevant to US politics for a while.

Repubs know this and have been trying their best, even cheating and breaking election laws, to prevent as many people voting as possible. This is a satirical response to that. Even right wing authoritarian followers won't believe that voting makes them gay.
