You all realize that the Democrats don't expect removal from office. What they want is to make this an issue so that they can talk about it during the general election. Their hope is that if they make this an issue it will give some sort of boost to Biden or Warren.

Cell with a view of a wall, decorated with all the articles about what a looser he is, his failures, what a laughingstock he will be once all the facts are out. Oh, and maybe another wall showing Obama’s many accomplishments. When the documentaries are made, have choice clips played endlessly, such as his verdict being read. Maybe occasionally show current news, to point out how he is not mentioned at all.

You might be right. Maybe I'm just a pessimist, but I don't believe that the dems will win in 2020. And I've come to the conclusion that Trump is just too dangerous to remain as President. I'd rather have Pence. And I believe that Trump's crimes are serious enough that enough republicans will come around and agree. Having said that, Pence will be horrible! I think that the left is going to remain lost in the forest until we find an extremely charismatic candidate who can unite all the factions on the left and motivate them to vote.

That’s putting a lot of swing districts in jeopardy for another negative to throw at Trump. People and Trump voters already know how reprehensible he is. I think the best bet is for Warren to make an ass of him on the debate stage.

I'm a bit baffled as to why Trump thinks China would be in any way willing to help his campaign. Didn't he unilaterally declare war on them? Can someone explain his thought process to me?

In his wanting China's leaders to investigate Biden, one might expect him to offer to reduce tariffs, but he didn't. He also doesn't seem very good at disguising what he wants so that it will be less obvious. He seems very short on strategic thinking. So unlike "The Art of the Deal".
Consider when Nancy Pelosi was squabbling with the "The Squad". Trump bellowed that those four Congresswomen should go back to their horrible home countries and fix them. This led to NP getting all buddy-buddy with at least two of them, posing with Ilhan Omar in West Africa and having a very nice meeting with AOC. If Trump had any talent in dealmaking, he would have been sweet talking NP about making some special deals with her - if she sidelines "The Squad". But he didn't.
