Twitter explodes after Matt Gaetz reveals he has a secret Cuban son to get back at a black Democrat

President Trump’s most vocal Congressional lapdog raised eyebrows around social media this afternoon when he mysteriously announced that he has a 19-year-old Cuban man living with him who he treats as his “son.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who is unmarried, posted a bizarrely cropped photograph of himself with a man apparently named Nestor Galban to his Twitter account, claiming that this was his “son” and that therefore he does know what it is to raise a “non-white kid.”

Gaetz has not formally adopted Galban. Gaetz said Galban has been living with him for most of the time he's been in the U.S., about four years, before he went to Miami to live with his biological father.
Gaetz-"he is my son in every conceivable way, and I can't imagine loving him any more if he was my own flesh and blood."

So he isn't your son in a biological way and he isn't even your son in a legal way, but he is your son in EVERY CONCEIVABLE WAY.

I guess my roomate in college was really my son. I certainly cleaned up enough after him.

You would understand if you were a parent* like Matt Gaetz.

So, it seems Nestor was the brother of the woman Gaetz was living with and dating. Nestor's mother allegedly died of cancer (I say allegedly because we are talking about Matt Gaetz here), and then moved in with his sister and Matt Gaetz, because, apparently you can do that. I don't know what the laws are for Cubans moving arbitrarily to the US.

At some point, Nestor moves out his junior year in High School because Gaetz and his sister break up, but then Nestor goes back to live with Gaetz... which then gets confusing because if he isn't adopted, what is Nestor's legal reason for living with Gaetz... he is a minor, isn't he? Aren't there laws regarding this?
