I don't think anybody else has died from Pfizer yet. Which makes me wonder if this guy died from Pfizer. People die randomly for all kinds of shit. How isn't this correlation and not causation?

In the Pfizer trial six people died. Four of the people who died got the placebo. The two who died was well within expectation. If you run a trial large enough some of them are going to die from random shit unrelated to the vaccine.

The 13 year old is being vaccinated to stop the spread of a deadly pandemic.

There's a simpler explanation. This is coming from the Daily Mail. The only source for this story is what the boy's aunt tweeted. This isn't the first time TSwizzle has tried this type of bullshit, either.

Over here, there are parents of people aged 12-18 with conditions that make them vulnerable complaining because the government does not approve a vaccine for them, and does not bring the Pfizer vaccine which is the only one approved elsewhere. The UK, on the other hand, allows that:

So, maybe that was the case here.

Sorry, I missed the "no underlying conditions" claim. Then I do not know. Maybe he agreed to get vaccinated to protect his family or other people, but who knows.

Maybe it's just standard procedure: They vaccinate people who are willing to get the jab, to stop the pandemic.

The answer to that question isn't terribly hard to grasp. His parents were trying to protect him and his community as best they could.

Maybe the reason he got deathly ill is because some anti-vaxxer, like you, did what another anti-vaxxer pharmacist is known to have done. Deliberately ruined the vaccine, then injected it into customers. I'm not saying you would do something so heinous. But anti-vaxxers are known to do them.

So, maybe that was the case here.

The problem with looking at adverse events: You get unrelated events being reported.

Also, note that anything that riles up the immune system has a small but non-zero chance of going seriously haywire. Vaccines of course do this--but the diseases they vaccinate against trigger it far more and thus have a higher chance of the same problems.

Even if the right wing fantasy of "it's just the flu" were true and even if this is vaccine-related the same thing might have happened had he gotten Covid. It's just it wouldn't have been news in that case--Covid can cause clots and they can kill you in your sleep even without other serious symptoms.

Blacks in USA are poor. Poor people are overweight to a greater extent and are less able to self isolate when sick. They also, to a greater extent, have jobs that expose them to a lot of people

There are multiple pockets of population who are reluctant to be vaccinated.

A whole bunch of (white, rabid Trump supporters) people I went to high school with are among those who think that it's all a hoax or just the flu or no big deal. Absolutely, that pocket of people do exist and comprise a large percentage of the populations of some states.

Another group of people who are perhaps not so much anti-vaxxers as they are skeptics do include some black people who are suspicious of the potential of being treated as experimental subjects as they were so often in the past.

Poorer people, or those for whom transportation is an issue or who have rigid work hours also have difficulty getting vaccinated.

We've seen some states have wonderful success in overcoming vaccination reluctance. We would all do well to embrace their strategies.

In any event, despite the constant pressure from the doomsayers, Boris Johnson is going to press ahead and lift all covid restrictions on July 19th. It's a formality now as it would appear a large part of the population is already getting back to normal.
