This could be fun to watch. RFK Jr. has been quite the critic of "Big Ag" and their reliance on things like GMO seeds and pesticides. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the suits from Monsanto, Tyson, Cargill and others show up in his DC office and patiently and firmly explain to him how this whole thing works. Their lobbyists exert enormous influence over Congress, and if he messes with their business model, he's not gonna have a good time.

It used to be a Democratic value to support health and welfare over corporate profits. That is no longer the case anymore. The Republicans used to be the party of billionaires and corporate profits over health and welfare but no longer since MAGA took them over.

Is RFK jr. really a loon? I don't know and you don't either. Science used to be truthful but it isn't anymore now that politics has inserted itself with profits. I know I sure like large corporations being put on notice people like RFK jr. will be expecting health over their profits. The Democrats wouldn't be doing anything except giving them blow jobs. Maybe we need to start spreading our own conspiracies since this is what the MAGA crowd seems to respond to.

RFK Jr. is being directed by the dental lobby to remove fluoride from the nation's water supply so that dentists can get wealthy on fixing the rotting teeth of America's children. It has been shown that fluoride in appropriately small amounts in the water leads to children having on average two fewer cavities and no negative long term health effects.

RFK Jr. is being directed by the medical lobby to get rid of vaccines so that they can earn much more money treating sick people from infectious diseases. Also, there is an elite cabal that wants to get rid of vaccines as a way to help depopulate the earth.

Maybe RFK jr. is a loon but you don't know if he is. You don't know because our science can not be trusted to tell the truth when it involves politics and profits for large corporations.

Is fluoride harmful? I have no idea. But what I can tell you is that materials like asbestos and lead paint were common when I was young. The harmful effects of smoking were known but not in public discourse yet because of tobacco profits either.

So it would not surprise me in the least if there actually were harmful side effects from fluoridated water.

As time goes on I am even more convinced the Democrats stole the election. But it was stolen legally with mail in ballots. During the pandemic the Democrats hired lawyers to change election laws in swing states to allow mail in ballots.


Nor has anyone given a decent reason why electronic voting machines have to be used or why states like Pennsylvania still haven't counted their votes from November 4, 2024 yet.
As even more time goes by there may be other things to change my mind again. But right now I am still in the "not trusting our election process" opinion.

Because most folks on the anti-Trump/pro-democracy side of things have accepted that the election is over and Trump actually won, but you are - apparently - insisting that the election was actually "stolen" by Democrats. I'm trying to wrap my head around how you think this is possible. If it was "stolen," then how is it that the Democrats are stepping aside and letting the transition happen?

Musk and Trump are both billionaires but I trust Musk FAR more than I do Trump. If for no other reason, Musk does not even want to be in politics. He just wants to invent and build things to help humanity.

He said no vaccine has ever been safe and effective. He tried to deny he said it but then the tape was played for him. As has been posted earlier in this thread, he is responsible for thousands of deaths in Samoa because he spread his anti vax bullshit then a measles outbreak occurred.

The Republican party raised all kinds of hell when Michelle Obama wanted to encourage people to eat healthier. Now they want an absolute loon to take over the government department that directs our health systems.

Trump is a chaos agent. Every cabinet post is highly unqualified, traitorous, nuts, or outright criminal. This seems extremely well planned to me. There is no coincidence. Only the illusion of coincidence. Considering Trump's good buddy Putin is probably whispering in his ear "Ruin your country for me. I'll make it worth your while. That 2 billion from Saudi Arabia will look like a popcorn fart compared to what I can do for you."

Musk has never invented one thing in his life. Tesla was a growing company when he invested in it. All of his space innovations are easily obtained in the science fiction section of the public library.

Science is the one field where trust is neither expected nor ever given. If you trust someone else, you are not doing science.

Science doesn't want people to trust it. Politicians, media personalities, and large corporations, on the other hand, want nothing else.
