I remember right-wingers losing their minds over Obama taking over Texas. Ultimately, Trump can not enforce reopening through force, but he can by reclaiming FEMA support. And he is a big enough of an asshole to do it. Maybe then (?) ​the GOP will do something about the naked emperor.

Sadly, I think this is exactly what Clownstick has been at least partly trying to do this week, make everything about himself. He is jealous of Governors, Dr. Fouci, and Biden/Obama getting so much attention; so he poke hard at things like 'I'm in total control over the states', 'defund WHO', and 'adjourn Congress so I can get my VOA chief thru'...

And too much of the media will spend countless hours dwelling on his sharting mouth; instead of what Governors are doing, or the Biden campaign, the history of Repugs and Trump dismantling the ability to respond to pandemics, how other countries are doing it right...

Probably not. I would think that if Trump had made it up he would have given himself a 92% approval rating or higher. More likely one of his sycophants made it up and whispered it in his ear when he was in curled up in the corner crying about how mean the press was to him.

But his announcement seems uneven.

At least the guy is predictable. I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that after Trump gets re-elected and the world has it's next crisis I'm sure at the top of his action plan will be to stop immigration.
