Don't be a dick.
Ok so I’m a Navy vet..I still have friends in the military. With military its hit or miss 50/50 when it comes to politics. Below is something someone who Identifies as libertarian and is still active duty, just posted. I decided not to engage but want to know your thoughts ?

“I am truly wondering if Democrats think that Biden will actually fix the economic fallout from COVID-19...I get it, you don’t like President Trump because he is an ass. He also happens to be an economic Titan! Don’t worry to those on my feed that clearly have made poor life choices, took 80k in student loans for an arts degree, make 30k a year, own no real estate, zero investments, think that itemized tax deductions are only for the wealthy, and somehow equate Capitalism to Fascism; I am not talking to you.”

Thought it could be worthy of discussion here.

I assume by "economic Titan" he/she means that Trump is a wonderful business man. At that point, the discussion is over because they are living in crazy town.

Which specific Trump economic policies have been so “titanic” for America?

A libertarian in a socialist organization that imposes its will by force all over the world?

Probably applied to work at a PMC but they turned him away because he didn't have any experience. Had to get free training and a job with the government instead.

Of course not, the President has next to nothing to do with the economy. Only stupid people believe that "electing the right guy" is all that's needed fix the economy. Unfortunately, stupid people comprise the majority of the electorate.

I do think there is economic benefit to resolving the Pandemic itself sooner rather than later, something Trump is obviously the wrong man to do. But again, also not something a President can play more than a minor role in accomplishing. We need, as a nation, to stop waiting for Superman to show up and save us from the problems we create for ourselves. It seems even more ideologically absurd to me for a self-described Libertarian to be waiting for a Big Daddy to come rescue him.

Proving once again that libertarians are just gop that are afraid to admit that they are that morally bankrupt.

Also, proving once again that military service doesn't make one particularly special in the sense of understanding what gov is supposed to actually do.

An economic titan, well known for advocating the time-honored libertarian policy of trade barriers and tarrifs?

good one--also this libertarian supports someone opposed to freedom of assembly, to freedom of the press, and to abortion (which, I think, libertarians see as a right).

Sounds more like a lib that's been surrounded by conservatives for too long. I think that's a good thing, he just needs to refrain from being as toxic.

To this day, the Titanic sits at the bottom of the ocean... just like the American economy. Maybe he meant another great accomplishment, like the Hindenburg?

ooooh, good thought. I was thinking more like the Greek Titans who were banished and imprisoned. I like the bottom of the ocean idea though.

As crowds of the faithful proudly gathered together singing "Nearer My God To Thee".
