Wow. All these years I thought it was Fruit Loops. Clearly, I am not as up to date as I should be on my children's cereals.

I'll shoot an email over to Kelloggs and have them rebrand their product to conform to what I thought it was because anything else happening would mean that I was in the wrong and that's not a rational thing to have happen.

:) This is actually an example of the Mandela Effect:

Thanks. I didn't realize that my error was a result of Donald Trump travelling through time and changing things (that's the gist I got from that article - it's an accurate summary, right?). It's nice to know that this is just one more thing I can blame Trump for.

The way the cereal is spelled is different than how the figurative term "fruit loop" is spelled.

That's what it was called in the other timeline.

To be fair, though, this timeline has two little fruit loops be the O's in Froot Loop, which is quite clever. Also, I have a hot wife and two great kids now, as opposed to dying alone in an alley from cirrhosis of the liver while crying about how empty, lonely and meaningless my existence was - as I'm quite certain my first attempt at life would have ended up. So, it's not ALL bad.

... But like all loopy socialists, sooner or later, they run out of other people's money. ...
Seems like projection, because the Right wants war after war after war, while not wanting to pay a penny to finance those wars. As AOC notes, we always seem to be able to find the money to pay for "unliimited war".

Also, if AOC were more outspoken about her socialism, she would explain how it's not "other people's money". Money is just the tangible, exchangeable form of the value we place on goods and services, and all of that value is the product of labor. Taxing the rich to pay for social services is taking back the money that should have been in the hands of the workers they exploit and (ideally) using it to further the interests of the workers themselves. Of course, when this is enacted by states that are intertwined with capital, the social services most often further the interests of capital first, with any benefit to workers being a side effect.

The price America and it's " true" allies must pay for being the world's policeman.

By that reasoning, there would be precious little if any corporations big and small left at all to provide workers with any income. But according to idiots like AOC and Sanders, money grows on trees, so no business entrepreneurs are required anyway!

The communist Utopia of the Soviet Union collapsed many years ago. But you're welcome in North
Korea, Cuba, Venezuela I'm sure.

And don't forget how Reagan warned us that Medicare would destroy all our freedoms.
