Nobody on this forum really knows much about what happened. Important details will commonly get left out if the person reporting has an agenda.

Bruh. Tswizzle highlighted these two lines. “Noah did then get out of hand” & “screaming, yelling” as if the article was only about the arrest. If you read the article, you’d see that it is more than just about some transgender person getting arrested, it’s about someone following the law leading up to getting attacked which then leads to the police being called and the police arresting the victim because the victim was upset that they (the police) weren’t listing.

So the "more to the story" Tswizzle is implying could be

A) The alleged victim must have said something that warranted getting attacked since the alleged victim was drunk and seemingly didn't comply with the police.

B) The alleged victim was arrested for being belligerent towards the police

or

c) All of the above


Which looks like confirmation bias to me.

Side note: Being belligerent does not make it legal for someone to assault you in the USA. In fact, it is illegal for anyone to assault another person, regardless of whether or not the victim was being belligerent.

In Ohio, a Trans-man was camping. He went to the public bathroom, and used the women's room since he had been advised to use the bathroom of their birth gender. The result? 3 guys beat him up for using the women's room.

One thing that bothers me is when we get reports like this... from stories that are nearly a year old. I'm usually better at catching the old news thing. This story goes into a black hole and I can't find anything on it. I can't even find records on Ruiz in the Premble County court system, possibly indicating charges dropped. No subsequent article exists indicating charges of particular assaulters, only that the decision was handed up to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office. I did find one article indicating he'd been going or at that campground since before he was 12, he transitioned at 12.
