Are people already regretting their choice?

, they threw away our country.
They claim to be patriots, but they threw away our country and applaud that trampling of a constitution that they claimed to love. Owning libs feels great

I wish instead of a few walking out or not attending they would have all in unison when Trump started speaking just stood up and turned their backs to him.

That’d show him!!
I think Dems should have all worn those mini pads on their right ear. Just to keep him on his toes. :)

Saw one of my old employee friends at the pool today. She stayed with the Company that bought ours, and has remained with them, working remotely. The Company just sprang for another $20m to acquire a supplier’s Company, so they went into new debt. Now, growth has been slammed into reverse by feds freezing contracts. A bunch of them, apparently.
Such a shame - they have done so well the last few years. Hopefully they’ll be okay - some of those boys have deep pockets.

Will the U.S.'s former allies in Europe turn against the U.S., with boycotts etc.? That would probably hurt them far more than it would hurt the U.S. But I'd still like to see it.

Shares in Rolls-Royce and other European defense contractors have risen sharply in the last two weeks. I no longer trade stocks, but should I advise EUAD as a buy for my son-in-law?

After watching Trump's lastest spray before Congress I am really regretting your (USA) choice.
Interesting... I've never defined "regret" in a way that it could apply to other people's choices.
I agree that it is often one's own actions that one "regrets." But this doesn't seem to be part of the definition. Google's response to "regret meaning" shows as an example (without implying "she" did murder)
"she expressed her regret at Virginia's death"

I wonder now...Trump had two attempts on his life within a couple of weeks prior to the election to keep him from getting elected. One of those was a guy hiding in bushes who never took a shot and the other the famous Kotex maxipad behind the ear but we never saw where he got nicked. And there have been no more attempts since he got elected. That's enough to almost make me believe that they were staged.

Definitely staged. There is the old concept of a conspiracy theory being an idea that disagrees with the facts, so for instance with 9/11 and JFK assassination there is plenty of evidence for the general view and other hypotheses are generally rightly regarded as conspiracy theories.
However, with the so-called assassination attempt on Trump, many people on this site who claim to be skeptics take the viewpoint that if you disagree with unverified main stream news reports then one is engaging in a conspiracy theory. It is interesting that little investigation was done, and no evidence proffered. For instance, no medical report, and a medical report that was revealed was from his personal physician, not from an official medical examination. There was much to be suspicious about, such as Trump's response, that was incompatible with his known cowardly behaviour as exhibited on prior occasions.

She believed she would get free IVF, but all she got was fired.

She hoped Trump’s victory would change her life, but not like this - Wapo
It is paywalled. Does this federal employee vote for Trump?

It's gifted. Yes she voted for Trump.
Surely she understands that her sacrifice is part of what will make America great again, right? Does she not have faith in her orange jesus?
She voted for him because he promised free IVF. Her and her husband have been trying to conceive and her doctor recommends it.

Something I found out that I find a little astonishing. You may have had a government job for years but if you take a new position you are again a probationary employee.
