Australian Federal Election 2016

Got the list today of those who will be helping in at my polling booth this saturday. For the first time in many elections I will actually have the staff I need.

Will wonders never cease.

Not every egg is destined to be a bird. In my experience, volunteers to hand out HTVs can evaporate very rapidly in the event of inclement weather.

I would suggest that you contain your joy until Saturday :)

True, rain is predicted for Saturday in Melbourne (so what else is new some will say :slowclap: )

Not I. I avoid cliches like the plague.

The Day is getting closer and I still have no idea who to vote for, but perfect knowledge for who I don't want to vote for.....they are all on that list.

Well, that's something at least. They must be afraid that nobody will turn up on polling day merely to vote. But sausages, now we are talking....

Canberra? They probably offer gourmet sausages fried on Gold plated barbecues served with top shelf wine in crystal glassware.

My Mrs and I already cast our votes last week. Saves us standing in a queue on Saturday. Met the delightful deputy pm this morning at my local mall while she was electioneering. I Live in a safe labor seat.

Poor you & me both. I live in a safe Labour seat too.

Yes, sometimes you must vote for the one you dislike the least.

A vote for minor parties in this election is a vote for chaos. One Only need to look at the Rudd/Gillard/Crudd period in office for that.
Second, a vote for Labor/Green/CFMEU alliance is a vote to destroy your kids future, with selfish uncontrolled spending and crippling debt, and the ultimate Greek like tragedy.
