The verdicts are different because the cases are different in some many ways. For example, Rittenhouse was in the middle of a violent riot, while the McMichaels were not. Rittenhouse was arguably in danger, the McMichaels were not.Is the Jury System Fair?

2 very similar cases, about the same time, similar situation of a White gunman killing someone in a violent altercation.
Really, the notion the cases were similar. let alone, very similar requires a massive dose of cognitive dissonance.
