Breakdown In Civil Order

shivers* What has the guy done (in any office he has held) that he could even remotely brag about?

Absolutely nothing of consequence. He has fucked up everything he touched. From the covid pandemic to the “homeless” crisis and everything in between. A virtue signaling twat of the highest order.

“Homeless” guy that stabbed Bobby East to death apparently got his comeuppance;

Days later, police later shot and killed Trent William Millsap, 27, a homeless man on parole, who allegedly stabbed the three-time US Auto Club (USAC) champ, in a SWAT raid, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. A SWAT team executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 3300 block of Lincoln Avenue, in Anaheim, on Friday. Millsap was shot and killed on the scene as the police were trying to arrest him. No officers were injured in the shootout, but a police K-9 was hit with a bullet and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Daily Mail

On July 11th, there was a shooting spree across several 7-Eleven stores with multiple fatalities.

Starbucks announced they are closing stores in Los Angeles amid safety concerns. Yeah, because the the meth zombies are a danger to staff and customers.

And the idiots in Sacramento obsess about masks and a virus that has a 99.9% recovery rate.

Or it could just be brain rot caused by reading British tabloids like the Daily Mail, whose track record of unreliability caused Wikipedia to ban as a source.

In February 2017, Wikipedians made a similar call for Daily Mail citations—that the publication would no longer be cited in articles as fact, due to its “reputation for poor fact checking, sensationalism and flat-out fabrication.” In April, when Facebook started marking fake news stories as fake with a popup linking to Wikipedia as a fact-checking reference, Breitbart claimed that Wikipedia “is notorious for its bias, editorial unaccountability, and unreliable articles.” In fact, Wikipedia is incredibly stringent about fake news and its editors are obsessive about accuracy (that doesn’t mean Wikipedia is always correct, but mistakes are generally fixed quickly.) In addition to Facebook, YouTube is also relying on the work of volunteer Wikipedia editors to fact-check its conspiracy theory videos.

What, Bobby East is alive? Starbucks aren’t closing stores in Los Angeles because of safety concerns? I’d be happy to hear that Bobby East is alive.

Sorry, but Wikipedia isn't all that trustworthy. The problem is that it's a truth by consensus, not truth by proof or authority system. The result is popular but false things will survive. Mostly, however, it comes down to what facts are chosen to include--it's guilty of cherry-picking on politically sensitive topics.

So the accused perpetrator was shot to death in the street without a trial.

What, exactly, is your problem with the present governance? Isn't shooting "bad people" to death exactly what your party promotes as the ideal outcome to every social problem? You're getting exactly what you say you want. Why are you crying into your cheerios about it? We have the authoritarian police state you're demanding, but you're still unhappy. Why?

You've expressed concern that the thug was killed and deprived of due process, but nowhere have you shown concern for the stabbing death of an innocent man who was minding his own business fueling up his car. This attitude seems common, and is key to why a lot of people are fed up.

The rest of your post is obviously just strawman nonsense and you know it.

Then perhaps you answer my question to tswizzle, rather than just whining about my asking it. What is it you want changed? If you state your policy clearly, there will be no need to guess. How would this situation have been different if Larry Elder were the governor? Would they have shot the accused perpetrator with larger guns, or what?

Covid has killed tens of times more Californians than all the criminals did. Unless you count the plague rats.

Caitlyn Jenner has slammed democratic governor Gavin Newsom and soft-on-crime DA George Gascon after a video emerged of thieves making off with $500,000 in luxury goods from a Malibu store. The video posted to Instagram shows brazen thieves snatching armloads of designer bags from a high-end store before fleeing out the front door into broad daylight. It happened around 2 p.m. on July 12 at the Maxfield store at the Malibu Lumber Yard shopping center, The Malibu Times reported. At least six suspects - male and female - barged into the store, body slammed a security guard and made off with the goods, a sheriff's spokesperson said. No one was injured.

People are being killed in the famously progressive county at a faster pace than 2021, as homicides hit a 15-year high.

So far this year, LA has seen 183 slayings.

Assaults are also up nearly five percent from 2021, with police so far recording 10,099 incidents.

Robberies, meanwhile, are at 4,740, up by more than 20 percent from last year.

Daily Mail

I was at the Malibu Lumber Yard just a couple of weeks ago. I always thought that area was pretty safe but I guess nowhere is safe these days. Way to go Newsom (y)

Sadly, the recall of Gascon is not going as well as I had hoped but we will keep fighting.

"Seems common"? I think what you mean is "contrived by you".

Fuck! The Government can't force people to wear a mask, but if the Government shoots and kills someone who they allege was a criminal that killed someone else... you are 100% no questions asked on the Government, both in the decision to use deadly force and in the opinion that this person definitely murdered another person. That seems inconsistent. We are supposed to have trials to prove guilt... not just use the Government's say-so.

How will Gascon's replacement end crime?

Ya know, you shouldn't use the Daily Mail as a source. They are using outdated 20th century terminology. We don't call them "brazen thieves". They are "organized groups of folks". Get it together man!

As anyone can see, you put a lot of words in my mouth, but it seems all you did was just prove my point. Thanks. So, here's your second chance. Got any words of sympathy for Bobby East? I thought you might, given you are a NASCAR fan, but apparently even that's not enough.

Gascon's ideology is that the perpetrator of a violent crime is as much, if not more of a victim than the actual victim of a violent crime.

You imply that Politesse had no regard to a stabbing victim (put words in their mouth) and are now complaining about having words put into your mouth?

Okay, first, I'm going to forgive your absolute slander by calling me a NASCAR fan. That isn't race car driving.

Secondly, now you are trying to put words into my mouth, by trying to imply I don't care about the stabbing victim, because I said that those accused of crimes need to face trial and not be simply arrested/killed by the Government via their say-so. So you are back to contrived arguments trying to score cheap points off the murder of a person.
