That has to be photoshopped. The lighting of the arrow appears inconsistent. Also no shadow, while the bow does have a shadow. Additionally, the angle of the arrow doesn't feel right as it would want to sag. It'd need to be really tucked into something to hold that angle. And of course, the guy is not bleeding. Could obvious not have changed his shirt.

Regardless...

We should be able to get that arrow out with no trouble, but we are going to have to ask some questions about how Gandalf's staff got wedged so far up... well...
 
That's also a lot of arrow shaft weight to be supported so wonderfully perpendicular to the entry site by only the couple of inches of penetration.

He's actually pinned to the chair. The kid shot him from across the room, while he was waiting for the PA to give him his tamiflu prescription.
