Joanne Chesimard (alias "Assata Shakur"), a BLA terrorist who was involved in the fatal ambush of police officers in 1973, finally kicked the bucket. It would have been better had she died in prison where she belonged, and not hiding out in Cuba, but it is what it is.
But what followed is far less good. Chicago Teachers Union has issued a message of support for her.

These are the people tasked with educating out youth. This kind of thing should be unacceptable - schools should be places of education, not indoctrination.
And this is also an example of how US labor unions are often run by left-wing extremists.
Nina Turner and Democratic Socialists of America also issued tweets celebrating this murderer.
