English!

Ovaltine was originally called Ovomaltene, after what were once its principal ingredients.
It has EGGS in it? 😲
It did. Nowadays it is just malt, sugar, and whey. The original concept was meant to be a health supplement of sorts.
Yeah, lots of our well known food brands started out as a plan to improve the people's physical and/or spiritual health.

Kellogg invented Cornflakes as part of his plan to stop people from masturbating.

Seriously.

Great quote from memory:
"My stool? My stool is perfect. It's round, firm, and has no more odor than a hot biscuit."

I googled it expecting a YouTube video instead I got AI.
Your description of a perfect stool aligns with a healthy Bristol Stool Scale Type 4 or Type 5 stool, which is smooth, soft, and sausage-like, indicating good digestion.

Speakin' of old products with unusual names:. Triscuit crackers (an iconic brand in the US) derive their name from the process of their manufacture, which was a novelty of its time. You see, Triscuits were "biscuits" first baked (in 1902) using elecTRICity from the recently opened (in 1895 ) Niagra falls hydroelectric plant.

Triscuits are "electric biscuits."

Hydrox cookies. Terrible name for a cookie.

In 1908, the cookie's creation was inspired by "purity and goodness", with a name derived from the hydrogen and oxygen elements within the water molecule.
Di-hydrogen Monoxide Cakes would have been a better name.

My first thought on reading that was hydrolox. As in the type of rocket engine.
