I've read through about 300 pages of the Epstein releases. It seems many people are mentioned because Epstein kept dossiers on important people, even those he never interacted with. It's going to take a long time for the public to go through it all.

He kept a printout of Trump's Wikipedia page with hand written annotations. That's part of what the powers that be wanted to keep hidden?

It's very obvious they are using AI or worse for so many of their actions.

But note that this is why care must be taken in examining the stuff. Clearly his information included people he sought to recruit, whether he actually did so or not.

In general I would agree. But this is a case where we know he skated because of connections. While there is certainly no moral requirement to act it's not really being judge, jury, and executioner.

I think it is much more difficult to avoid the slime but I don’t think it is impossible. Somehow, the Obamas seem to have avoided Epstein. Whether that was because they were more careful or because they were disqualified because of their race, I couldn’t venture a guess.

Perhaps if you have certain ambitions, it is very much more difficult—and perhaps impossible . I think that wealth should not shield you from consequences of illegal activity and I don’t think wealth makes you more worthy of special influence.

I also know from personal experience, that sometimes the person you throw support to turns out to not be the person you thought they were. That is, they turn out to be a bit slimy or to have a change of heart from what their stated stances were. I have come to believe that we should not allow billionaires to exist. Despite our founders’ intentions to avoid kings and unlimited power, we’ve drifted away from that ideal. I am at heart an egalitarian. I think we should all be held equal before the law. Unfortunately unlimited wealth leads to a completely different set of rules for a very few. We would have been much better off to have left in place a tax code similar to that in the 1950’s, where uber wealthy pay a much greater portion of their income in taxes, with fewer loopholes. Adjusted for inflation.

I can't say for certain the elections in 2026 happen and in January 2027, Democrats in several states don't get seated.

On the other hand, I can say SCOTUS has done so irreversible for decade damage to regulatory guidance for the Federal Government. So even if all goes well, in 2026 for the Democrats, they aren't really going to fix everything that has been broken.

The expectations I have involve the Trump Hotels as an entry point with security hired specifically not to ask questions and possibly even CC systems selected for their ability to be tampered easily (and under the control of Trump).
