The question is after all this talk by Trump on Epstein, why hasn't he released the files?
The only reason would be because he is named in it. Because he wouldn't give a damn about anyone else getting exposed.

Of course you'd attack Biden, saying he abused and politicized the DoJ by releasing the documents. You ask questions as if you aren't a contrarian.
The Trump base made a big deal on Epstein. They are the ones demanding the release. To Trump's relief, the Kirk murder distracted his base.

I've got to imagine that if the DoJ wanted to pursue people via the files they could. I think the truth is, this is a Libertarian sort of thing where the uber-wealthy are exposed in these documents and they are using the Government to keep it from being released. Sure, in a Libertarian utopia there would be no government to help cover things up... and Epstein would still be living on his island, helping the wealthy and powerful go balls deep in minors.

As Ziprhead pointed out (in post 454, prior to the above response), the court sealed the files during Biden's term. Are you suggesting, as a libertarian, that the POTUS should disobey the courts?

Have you ever heard of "the appeal process"? There's no indication he tried to do anything towards releasing the documents after a court sealed them. Or perhaps releasing them before the court sealed them? Nah, Biden never did anything wrong.
