There does seem to be a major effort underway to rehabilitate the public's perception of the government mismanagement of Covid, up to and including trying to rehabilitate gesundheit-fuhrer Fauci. Why this major effort five years later?

No they weren't.

Getting arrested if you are on the beach alone sounds like the result of breaching a barrier a State or federal agency put in place. If it was a local ordinance to close a beach then the penalty would have been getting a ticket and paying a fine, and that would only be unjust if notice wasn’t posted.

A barrier put up in response to Covid.

And saying “12 months to flatten the curve” has no bearing on whether someone thinks some vaccines are effective or that it’s a good idea for people to get them.

You asked why there is renewed attention on Fauci. I think the deaths of unvaccinated children due to diseases for which effective vaccines exist and people being less gullible about the claims of congressmen going after public servants like Fauci and Jack Smith are driving that attention. The day Rand Paul pulls his head out of his ass and gets over his own ego is the day Fauci is no longer headline news.

So you are saying that anyone who had problems with the Covid restrictions is a denier of vaccines in general. That's a pretty hefty charge, I invite you to attempt to back it up.
