America's dollar isn't devaluing globally. I've seen some cricket matches in the West Indies and Pakistan and there are prize rewards shown in "USD", and not for the broadcast's sake. What do you think causes inflation, anyway? Whether it's debasing the denarius or massive government debt spending, when the currency is devalued you get inflation. Please explain how inflation is just bad governance.Inflation isn't a miracle. It's just bad governance.Biden isn't great, but what the Democrats have accomplished with a 50-50 Senate and a tight House is just short of a miracle.
Inflation, like most things in life, is complicated. In the US, inflation was caused by different staggered causes, such as supply shortfalls and then energy prices. Government spending could be a portion of the inflation, however, seeing that inflation is being seen across the globe, it is most likely a convergence of a number of complicated causes from the pandemic, and the increase in prices of oil and gas caused by the Ukraine invasion and OPEC+ cuts.
