How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

New Year trolling from Medvedev:
Medvedev is becoming very good at trolling ukro-nazis.

Hitler tried to steal other nations like Putin does. What country has Zelenskiy tried to steal?
According to barbos, Ukraine. Stole it from Russia apparently.
Tried, you mean. Mother Russia has taken it back, and President Trump is going to break the bad news to the Ukranian rebels any day now.

Fixed. Also something something Nuland something something.

Ukraine claims to down three Russian fighter-bomber jets
Russian bloggers acknowledged the loss, and analysts suggested U.S.-supplied Patriot missiles had probably been used.
Making it a little more difficult for murderous Russians to kill Ukrainian women and children.
These Su-34s shot down over Kherson we're likely launching glide bombs on Ukrainian troops. This is what likely brought them into range of Patriot batteries. The Patriot system would have been moved up close to the Dnipro river to execute this plan. It is interesting that the Ukrainians could hit three of these Su-34s at the same time. Is this a reflection on the quality of pilots Russia has and/or aircraft maintenance? I'm wondering about the countermeasures the aircraft has to deploy and their effectiveness against Patriots. The Su-34 is suppose to be a formidable and proven aircraft. Ah well, that's too deep into system performance to know for sure. It just goes to show you, all the fancy equipment is for naught if you haven't highly trained operators and maintenance personnel to go along with it.

At any rate, Ukraine again shows what it can do if it is just given the tools to do it and how creative they can be with those tools. Imagine if Ukraine got what they asked for in a more timely manner.

I hate when people steal themselves.
Maybe this is the Ruskie problem in a nutshell. It's a country that's never experienced a legitimate society based on freedom and law but rather one in which the biggest thief was always rewarded. Their monarchy attempted a few flashes of reform along these lines but it never seemed to take a prime probably because there was never enough water in the well to sustain anything. Peasants were owned and sold over the years unlike western societies. Western societies certainly had slaves but the majority of Ruskies were always slaves for the country's history. Reformers were always brutally silenced and exterminated. It's really an interesting dynamic that we in the west probably can't fully appreciate and comprehend.

Yes this post is spot on. I’ve always felt that Russians do not respect private property and sovereignty. One of the factors for the Ukrainian invasion was Russian outrage that Ukraine was charging Russia for Russia using their land to ship oil and gas. Of course it’s their land!! Any country bordering Russia should understand that Russia does not care about your sovereignty!

Depending on how good the EW systems are on both sides you might be able to fox the missile and if you are in a maneuverable enough aircraft and can see the missile you have a chance of beating it by flying towards it and making a radical turn at the last second. Because the missile is moving a lot faster it has to pull a lot more acceleration on the turn--done right you have more control authority than it does. Note, however, that this leaves you a sitting duck against a second missile following a few seconds behind.

The normal way to beat something like the Patriot is to fly below it's envelope. But that leaves you vulnerable to ground fire and many weapons can't be used down there. Bombs won't arm--which is good because you would be in the blast zone if they did. Some missiles drop away, those would go splat. Missiles that light on the rail would still work. You have to come up to strike--and when you come up you expose yourself to the SAM. Climb, release and quickly get back down before the missile finds you. And if an enemy fighter finds you when you're down there your maneuvering options are limited.

Murderous is Nazi Regime in Kiev. They still bomb Donetsk civilians, even with little ammunition they have.
Anyway, Ukro-regime lied about 3 russian jets. It was only one (1) and some facts point toward friendly fire.
Russian Forces still has not sorted out this crap.
At the same time Russian air defence shot down 4 (four) nazi jets during that week.
But of course your Corrupt Media would not mention that.

Zitler mouth. It was reported everywhere.
No, it wasn't.
It was.
Ukraine needs 20K/months. They are going after ukrainian refugees in western countries.

Yeah, words coming out your puppet Hitler.

Parts of Russia.

That's ironic for you to say. I am talking about West trying to steal russian assets. And report about Pentagon official visits to ... Crimea right after Nazi Coup in 2014.
