How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Looks like they vastly overestimated that susceptibility, as we head toward year four of their three day “military exercise”/invasion. And they’re STILL nowhere near Kyiv.
Do they want Kyiv?
Well, Aupy you should be able to figure that out for yourself. The very first thing they did when they invaded their neighbor, was to head a twenty mile line of tanks straight for Kyiv. They all got slaughtered, much to Putler’s surprise. Do you think they’d have made such a spectacular sacrifice going for something they didn’t want?

You cannot be this uninformed and have opinions. A line of Russian tanks heading straight to Kyiv was the very first operation by the Russians in this war.

Here’s your logic, if a woman is beaten by her husband and tries to get external help then she's to blame for the abuse.
Why was the woman beaten by her husband? Did she side with his enemies? Let us listen to the husband's story.
Of course, physical violence is a crime.
OMFG!!!

Indeed. Maybe she said something he didn’t like. Right, Aupy?
The more you post, the younger you seem to me. Of course you need not answer, but I wonder if you’re more than ten years old.

How's it anyone's business who Ukraine/the wife sides with? If your partner prefers the company of other men over you, then you are the problem. Not other men.

Why does it matter why Russia attacked? What possible justification could there be?

Of course, physical violence is a crime.

So you are now against Putin? I'm so confused

I think our friend from India has demonstrated repeatedly that being uninformed is of no consequence when it comes to making decisions about today. Old information is of no value or relevance to things happening today.

Being that uninformed makes such opinions more likely.

While there are some deficiencies in his knowledge, he is miles ahead of you people.

I don’t think it’s you.

Crimeans and Eastern Ukrainians sided with Russia.
You peddle rubbish. Russians invaded Crimea AND eastern Ukraine in 2014 and the Russian guns to the heads of the people did the "siding." It's like you think nobody has ever been mugged because all of those wallets were handed over willingly by their original owners.

We will never know the true wishes and preferences of the people in Crimea and eastern Ukraine in 2014, but it doesn't even matter if they DID prefer to join Russia. Because THEY WERE FREE TO DO SO ALREADY! (legally and without bloodshed)

Russia was giving away easy expedited passports to Ukrainians in 2014 and any Ukranian who wanted to move to Russia and become a Russian citizen was able to do so quickly and easily.

Also, and more importantly, the people living in a region don't have a right to vote their region into the ownership of a foreign power. That isn't part of Ukranian law, that isn't part of international law, that is just some bullshit that Barbos pulled out of Russian propaganda screeds. He think it appeals to western democratic instincts, but it doesn't stand up to even slight scrutiny.

Oh and Barbos betrays himself when he says that Eastern Ukraine sided with Russia. The scam was that the Russian puppet "rebel fighters" in Donetsk and Luhansk wanted to be "independent of Ukraine" not merged with Russia. It was the excuse that Putin concocted when he saw how well his land grab in Georgia worked out. Even the lie at the time was for independence, not Russian annexation. But of course, Barbos knows just as well as we do that independence was always a ruse and the "rebellions" in eastern Russia were always just illegal russian soldiers criminally invading their neighbor.

According to US conducted polls Crimeans wanted to be in Russia well before 2014.
You are the one who peddles garbage.
That's not what those polls actually say. Check them again.

Nope, that's exactly what polls said.
Even EU scambags admitted that that.
Same with Eastern Ukraine, people in Mariupol are quite happy to be back in Russia now.

Nope, and even if they did say that, a poll isn't a vote. Ask the election prognosticators in any country that isn't an authoritarian shithole with fake elections. I'm afraid you'll have to travel to another country if you wanted to meet one personally.

The one's who were murdered by orcs disagree.

Well, they were overwhelmingly voting for Putin as the rest of Russia.
And yes, they had been illegally denied to vote by the multiple regimes in Kiev.

Your obsessive denying of the obvious fact that Crimea has always been Russian and pro-russian is very telling.
Your whole narrative seems to be based on the fact that Ukraine has been united in their hatred of Russia is ridiculous.
Even Central Ukraine (Kiev) is not that "pro-ukrainian" as your propaganda says.
If things continue the way they are going you will have Kiev back in Russia.

You are simply ridiculous.

Why are you putting words in my mouth? The only arguments you've ever won have been against a scarecrow, so you can't help but to depict me as a strawman. Fallacies and distortions are all you've got.
