How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

No, I didn't.
Yes, you did. You and president of Finland both did.
Every time you say "Slava Ukraina" you are praising ..... nazis.
Because "Slava Ukraina" was a part of nazi Salute during WW2. Just saying.
Glory Ukraine is nazi now?
Everything Nazi now. Invasion of Afghanistan in 1980s? Nazi. Rocky IV in 80s? Balboa clearly Nazi. Georgia? Nazi. Is no opposition to Russia that is not Nazi! Yakov Smirnoff doing comedy show? Clearly Nazi! Putin must invade Branson Missouri!

.
Is this also fake and conspiracy theory?
Or NYT became Russian stooges?
Thanks for posting that. Quotes from it:

Today, even with hundreds of thousands dead and wounded, Moscow and Kyiv appear further from peace than at any other time since the full-scale invasion. On Friday, Mr. Putin said Russia would agree to a ceasefire only if Ukraine handed over four regions the Kremlin has declared part of Russia and dropped its NATO aspirations. It was essentially a demand for capitulation, which the Ukrainian government immediately denounced.

Russia initially wanted Ukraine to recognize Crimea as part of Russia.

“Ukraine recognizes the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol as an integral part (subjects) of the Russian Federation and, in this regard, shall make comprehensive changes to the national legislation.”

By April 15, both sides agreed to exclude Crimea from their treaty — leaving it under Russian occupation but without Ukraine recognizing it.

“Paragraph 1 of Article 2 and Articles 4, 5 and 11 of this Treaty shall not apply to Crimea and Sevastopol.”
An examination of the documents shows that the two sides clashed over issues including weapons levels, the terms of Ukraine’s potential membership in the European Union, and specific Ukrainian laws on language and culture that Russia wanted repealed. Ukraine’s negotiators offered to forgo NATO membership, and to accept Russian occupation of parts of their territory. But they refused to recognize Russian sovereignty over them.

Ukraine proposed never joining NATO or other alliances.

“Ukraine does not join any military alliances, does not deploy foreign military bases and contingents …”

Russia demanded that Ukraine make Russian an official language.

“Ukraine, within 30 (thirty) days after signing this Treaty, shall remove all restrictions on the use of the Russian language in any area in accordance with Annex 2.”
Russia, stunned by the fierce resistance Ukraine was putting up, seemed open to such a deal, but eventually balked at its critical component: an arrangement binding other countries to come to Ukraine’s defense if it were ever attacked again.

At the time, little about these peace negotiations was known, and what has leaked out in the two years since has been shoehorned into wartime talking points by each side. Mr. Putin contends the West pressured Ukraine to reject a peace deal; Ukraine's Foreign Ministry says that “if Russia wanted peace in 2022, why had it attacked Ukraine in the first place?”
Capitulation, capitulation, capitulation to Russia.

Fine. Agree to recognize Eastern Ukraine as part of Russia.
Immediately violate the agreement by invading Eastern Ukraine.
Get NATO to give you all you need to accomplish this.
Now you're speaking a language Russians understand.

Russia is a clownish actor, pretending it never signed a sovereignty agreement in exchange for Ukraine giving up their nukes.

What a great deal that turns out to be; you get to invade and try to conquer a few years later, with no threat of nuclear retaliation, giving teeth to your own nuclear threat.

The stupidity that babs peddles here is not about the ostensible subject, it’s about getting Trump back in office by hook or crook. Once that’s done, Ukraine is forfeit, NATO is history and life is good - for dictators like Pootey.

By the way, do you know who New Zeeland sent to Switzerland to meet Elensky? Prison guard!

Russian was an official language of Ukraine, before nazi coup in 2014. The fact you are outraged by that "demand" shows your utter ignorance. Russia was offering great deal to Ukraine in Istanbul, ukrainians said that themselves. And they took it. But then US/UK ordered ther puppets to stop talking and fight.

Why would Ukraine have a need to invade their own territory?

No, I didn't.
Yes, you did. You and president of Finland both did.
Every time you say "Slava Ukraina" you are praising ..... nazis.
Because "Slava Ukraina" was a part of nazi Salute during WW2. Just saying.
Glory Ukraine is nazi now?
Yes. it's a part of nazi salute, unfortunately.
One nazi says "Glory to Ukraine"
another should reply "Glory to heroes"
And they both proceed to murdering poles, jews, and commies.
And before you are going to say it's very generic statement and such. No, it's not, in the context it is used in Ukraine now it is pretty specific reference to WW2 ukro-nazi - Bandera and his gang.
So when your imbecile Trudeau during group photo at G7 shouts out his stupid "Slava Ukraine" he is basically shouting out "Heil Hitler"
And you are not going to get much sympathy for that in Russia.

Russian dying in droves.

......
Anton Andreev, a Russian soldier from the fifth company of the 1009th regiment, painted a bleak picture of Russia’s offensive in the Ukrainian northern region of Kharkiv.

His unit had been decimated, he said, with only 12 out of 100 soldiers still alive as they came under constant Ukrainian fire and drones in Vovchansk, a prime target of Russia’s advances.
“They just chop us up. We are sent under machine guns, under drones in daylight, like meat. And commanders just shout ‘forward and forward’,” Andreev said in a video message.
....

Complete and utter fabrication.

Sure, Jan! Everything you don’t like is Nazi propaganda or a fabrication!
No. everything you say is a nazi propaganda. You may not know it, you may not believe it, but it is.

Right now Russia is winning. Unless western powers pitch in more, and fast, Putin is going to get what he wants.

Unfortunately Putin isn't stupid

What impression has Russia ever made that they respect agreements? They're always been oportunistic and aggressive

Putin is betting he can outlast the West i.e. the West will lose interest before he (Putin) runs out of soldiers or shells.
It's still an even money bet.

LOL, I initially thought it was fake, but apparently not. Poor Ukraine, even Romania is pro-Putin when it comes to soccer.
Ukraine was crashed 3:0 by the way.

Ukro-Regime tried to scam countries at their "peace" conference, by claiming countries as signatories of the final statement, when in reality they did not sign it. So ukrainian thing to do.

By the way, the youtuber is an ukrainian. Initially anti-putin, slowly turning rabidly anti-elensky.

By the way, this is exactly what happened after Minsk-2.
That's why we have war now. Ukraine does not need enemies when they have such friend as TV and credit cards.

Putin is using the Roman imperial playbook. Win by being relentless and be willing to soak up more losses than anyone else

He's now teaching the world how far Russia is willing to go to win any war. If Russia wins this he'll have a hell of an easier time keeping ex Soviet countries under his control.

The good news is that if we manage to stop him, Russia will be broken for ever. It'll fall apart like Austria-Hungary after WW1

That's not gonna happen. EU and NATO will dissolve sooner than that.
You repeated Hitler's mistake thinking that Russia was weak.

You're not wrong. You're absolutely not wrong. However one of those two is making a decision and surrounding himself with younger people who have fresh ideas. "New Blood", you might say.
Yes, new blood with fresh ideas about how to start nuclear war.
Putin is the only one to have threatened to use nukes over the Ukraine war.
That's patently false. The first one was your demented president when early on, during war, said "F-16 in Ukraine means nuclear war" Russia said nothing. Then your media started campaign of lies claiming that Russia threatens to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine (no such thing was even remotely implied by the Russian side). Then your demented president agreed to send F-16s (which according to him meant nuclear war). Russia conducted tactical nukes drills in responce.
Sorry dude, it's you not us.

And now, due to Russia's abusing the fact many Ukrainians spoke Russia, the Ukrainians are de-Russifying Ukraine. No more Russian language street signs for example.

That's not what is happening. Ukrainization started in 2014 after nazi coup. That's why russian-speaking regions decided to leave Ukraine in the first place. Now, once Ukraine is fully back in Russia, russian will be once again an official language.
Ukrainian will be allowed to teach, speak and put signs in, but I doubt it will be allowed to be used in official documents.

Your demented Pootie has mismanaged his war and gotten the cream of Russian youth slaughtered en masse. Many more of Russia's young best and brightest smartly left while the leaving was good. Russia will pay a steep price for decades for Pootie's stupidity.
