How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

If you don't, why would anyone believe such a stupid claim?
In all fairness, I didn’t read “the claim” but there is ample reason to believe that STOOPID is a cherished value of ‘Murkinz.

The claim in question is that "According to international and ukrainian law", Russia has a right to invade Ukraine.

A big lie (German: große Lüge) is a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the truth, primarily used as a political propaganda technique.
The German expression was first used by Adolf Hitler in his book Mein Kampf (1925) to describe how people could be induced to believe so colossal a lie because they would not believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously".

Same law that lets Trump fuck minors and deport people without due process!
What a GREAT law!

Russia has no right to invade Ukraine
Actually we do. According to international and ukrainian law.
Ukraine has a law that allows other countries to invade and conquer them???
Actually yes
There are plenty of online resources for finding Ukrainian law (for example here); So it should be trivial for you to find the relevant law and post a link to it in support of this claim.

You have selectively poor memory. I've already shown that many times.
My claim is not stupid, law is.

I asked for a reference to the law, not for an opinion expressed by Russian wikipedia.

I even provided a link to a site that helps you to find and quote Ukrainian laws.

And article is about that law, or rather laws.
It's on the book in your list, have no doubt about that.
Your dear ukro-nazis really gave Ukraine back to Russia.

Bloody hell. Italy has 36(!!!) ukrainian organizations.

Italians are going to institute anti-russophobia day. I guess after 3 years of the ukro-nazis "refugees" they realized they prefer music over constant ukro-noise.

So you won't have any problem linking to that law or laws then.

Oddly, taking your word for it isn't an adequate substitute for actual evidence.
Your dear ukro-nazis
My what again on a pushbike??
really gave Ukraine back to Russia.
Nobody gave Ukraine to Russia. And Russia has been utterly humilliated by her abject failure to take it by force.

Speaking of ukrainians. I have said before that I have neighbors who have relatives in ukraine with children who want to kill ..... russians.
Anyway, funny story from a month or two ago. I was asked to help some babubshka I did not know (she knew me but they know everyone) in next apartment building. Anyway I was doing the thing (outside) and another babubshka comes out and starts talking to "my" babushka in ....... pretty much ukrainian. That was funny and weird. Have never seen such a thing in Russia. I don't know what's her situation but it looks like she has been living here since Soviet Union and managed to not learn russian. I will probably ask about her.

Another story/meme I already posted but in Russian.
In Russia there are widespread scams directed mostly at pensioners with online banking. Where scammers gain access to their accounts and then transfer money. It's done by calling over the phone and pretending to be from bank, police, FSB, etc. Most of these scam gangs are based in Ukraine (for obvious reasons). So one of the funny way to troll them is to ask "Whose is Crimea?"
So people do that, and one woman (so they say) one day asked "Whose is Kiev?" instead :D
Ukro-scammer replied "Russian are fucking nuts!" and hung up.
And yes, Kiev should be back in Russia. So that we can erect back Bulgakov monuments and museum can be safe.

I find it funny though because Bulgakov (a russian from Kiev) did not like USSR and USSR at his time did not like him.
But he was a bit monarchist and was rather indifferent to Ukraine. Master and Margarita is hands down the best thing I ever read.
And ukro-idiots could not just avoid the topic and started talking about removing him from their history. He is not "ukrainian" enough for them.

More likely is Putin had a chip installed in your head and it's malfunctioning... badly.
Russian chip industry is pretty much non-existent. Remember we have to take chips from washing machines and use them all in weapons.
And what would be the point anyway? I am so scared of GULAG that post here for daily portion of potato and vodka, right? no chip required :D

Seriously, it does not bother you that most of these "democratic" leaders of these little former USSR republics are graduates
of a little known american university which does not accept ...... americans?

I was listening to Jeffrey Sachs on Duran again. And he mentioned Francis Fukuyama again, who is an unofficial talisman of neocon idea.
I knew about him but not much. So decided to read Wikipedia on him. Apparently he is no longer neocon and says Karl Marx was right about some things and supports ...... communist China. That's quite a switch.

And Latynina herself. Not a big follower of her but she has always been somewhat moderate critic of Russia and she recently switched sides.
Some say this is a result of USAID funding cut. But I am not convinced that this is the case here. Again, she has never been rabid critic of Russia, she is more of a thinking and somewhat careful variety. Her switch looks well thought out. If it's about money then she is very good at faking it.

You english-speaking victims of western media lies have no idea what is actually going on in Russia. Plan of your "leaders" to regime change Russia has utterly failed.

Why is a poster who consistently posts lies and seeks to deceive, even tolerated here?
Even ITRW harmful speech without redeeming benefit, is often curtailed.

Of course it’s a little bit of fun to practice shooting fish in a barrel, but IMHO it degrades the overall quality around here.
Well people keep coming back and challenging him and getting the same results.
Evidently there's a market.

Valery Gergiev's concert in Caserta, Italy, scheduled for July 27, has been cancelled. The symphony concert was to take place as part of the Un'Estate da Re festival and would be the conductor's first European appearance since 2022. Ukrainian activists, European politicians and opposition figures spoke out against his participation in the festival. In Italy, they believed that the visit of "Putin's friend" could send "the wrong signal".

The concert of Russian conductor Valery Gergiev in Italy has been cancelled. This was reported by the Ansa agency , citing the organisers.

Gergiev's performance was scheduled for July 27 as part of the Un'Estate da Re festival in Caserta. This concert would have been the conductor's first performance in Europe since 2022. It was planned that Valery Gergiev would conduct the orchestra
of the Teatro Verdi from Salerno with the participation of musicians from the Mariinsky Theatre, of which he is the director.

Geez!

Decommunization in Ukraine ( Ukrainian: Декомунізація в Україні ) is a state policy pursued by Ukraine since 2014 after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the opening of archives on the number of victims of the Red Terror , Stalinist repressions , and political prisoners of the Brezhnev period in Ukraine. As part of decommunization, a ban was introduced on the activities of the Communist Party in the country , monuments to Soviet dictators , government and party figures were dismantled, and Soviet toponyms were also removed .

The process of decommunization, which began during the collapse of the USSR , intensified during the " Leninopad " during and after the Euromaidan , was legitimized by a package of laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on April 9, 2015 . On May 15, 2015, the laws were signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko . Also in 2015, the law "On the condemnation of the communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and the prohibition of propaganda of their symbols" was adopted. The laws were published on May 20, 2015 and came into force on May 21.

After February 24, 2022, decommunization became more intense and deepened due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine . In April 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on the "decolonization" of toponymy, which prohibits geographical names associated with Russia. Not only are new names prohibited, but old ones are also required to be changed.
There's nothing there that says it's okay for Russia, or any other country, to invade Ukraine.

I disagree. The law basically says "Let's get rid of soviet heritage". These dumbasses were literally saying that. And ukrainian "communists" pointed that out. Ukraine is Soviet heritage, you stupid banderites!
