How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

@aupmanyav is, and I am asking for the allegedly relevant text from this alleged treaty.
"Russia and Ukraine had not finalized a border between the two countries. The border was delineated in the 2003 Treaty on the Russian-Ukrainian State Border, but Ukraine has started the agreed-upon demarcation unilaterally after Russia dragged its feet."
Treaties come with understandings.

Or are you just parroting Russian propaganda?
I am just giving history a post-event look.
Had Yuschenko or Yanukovich continued, there would not have been a Ukraine war.

So are you trying to say that a sovereign country doesn't have a right to lawfully impeach a President if he is not following their laws? Or maybe they have to get permission from their neighbor?

Can you quote the provision of the treaty that rendered it invalid when this change occurred?
What treaty are you talking about? Ukraine had friendship treaty with Russia which was broken when they (Ukraine) turned nazi.

All your excuses for this war are complete bullshit. Your side yesterday attacked Poland with 19 drones. What's going to be your excuse for that? Let me guess: they are Nazis; they violated they treaty of 1066 to only buy soviet vodka???! Who knows. Can't wait to hear your addled excuses for this.

But sensibilities of the neighbors also has to be kept in mind.
Tell it to your buddy Pootey.
Nothing offends your neighbor’s sensibilities like invading their home and murdering everyone you can.
Sensibilities my ass. You are saying “give them what they want and they’ll be nice”.
Which is patent BULLSHIT. These are murderous thugs engaged in an illegal land grab. Ideally, they kill everyone in Ukraine and set up shop on their land - with your help of course.
Fuck that shit, and fuck you for putting it forward like it’s “normal”.

It has all the rights, but will also have to bear the results of its decisions.

I am not saying that. US wants Indian market to open for its agricultural produce and dairy products. India would not allow US to cross the red line even if it imposes 500% tariff. We will find other markets or manufacture different goods. But we negotiate things. I think that is the way to do it. We had a skirmish with China. Did the current government give any territory to China, though China is much stronger than us? We sought better relations.

Gee you’re SOOooo civilized.
I bet you haven’t recently invaded a land unprovoked except by political leanings, murdered its citizens and declared it your own property. At least not lately.
Russia traded nukes for sovereignty; give us your nukes and you will be left alone.
Then they revoked the sovereignty they had promised.
Dirty dealings make war. Putin is a dirty dealer.

First of all, he WAS following the law. Second he was not impeached, there was not enough votes and these who voted did so under the guns of the nazi mob. And yes, according to EU own rules they (Ukraine) have to get permission of the their neighbor when it comes to security.

No. We have never done any such a thing. What is that which you are talking about? If you are talking of Kashmir, please know that Kashmir is a part of India. Indian military went to Kashmir only on the request of their King and Prime Minister, and after the accession deed was signed. The Pakistani marauders and tribes men had reached the Sri Nagar airport. They begged us for help.

"Liaquat Ali Khan sent a Punjab politician Mian Iftikharuddin to explore the possibility of organising a revolt in Kashmir. Meanwhile, Pakistan cut off essential supplies to the state, such as petrol, sugar and salt. It also stopped trade in timber and other products, and suspended train services to Jammu. Iftikharuddin returned in mid-September to report that the National Conference held strong in the Kashmir Valley and ruled out the possibility of a revolt."

If you are referring to some other area, let me know.

Kashmir recently had a fair democratic elections (October 2024) and is ruled by the people they have elected. Modi's party is a minority in Kashmir legislature (Ruling combine led by National Conference: 52, Opposition, led by BJP: 28, other opposition: 8).

Have you been in a coma?
Putin recently invaded a land, murdered its citizens and declared it his own property (after signing a promise to respect its sovereignty).
Now you wish to put Pootey on equal moral footing with his victims. That’s just flat out perverted. It makes you his equivalent.

Oh, I thought you were talking about Kashmir/India. Yes, Russia invaded Ukraine and we are very sad about it and trying to find a solution to the conflict in collaboration with other countries. We wish that the war end as soon as possible. I would not try to put blames. Other countries also are involved.
