How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

One cool little tidbit/tidbyte is in regards to these attacks on data centers. For Ukraine, data is backed up in Europe. Microsoft, and AWS has provided hosting to Ukraine gratis.
In Russia? Russia being Russia has a law that data cannot be stored outside the country and over 80% of data centers in Russia are concentrated in the Moscow/St Petersburg areas. This creates the potential for loss of data in its entirety depending on the location of backup data and for smaller companies, that their backups are even up to date. And Russia of course has put the onus on the data companies to protect their facilities.
Can Russia loosen these restrictions and permit data storage in friendly countries? Don't hold your breath.
Then of course there is the cost and scarcity of hardware for Russia to purchase. Building of new data centers is already down significantly. Now there is the additional burden of repairing what they already have.
:)

Trump: We were in the midst of negotiating and a lot of stupid people said why aren’t you putting Russian sanctions—

Collins: But you said you didn’t give anything for his release

Trump: If I didn’t do that, you wouldn’t have him coming back.

Collins: So you did give something.

Trump: You don’t know anything. You’re fake news CNN.

Collins: You’re saying you lifted the sanctions in exchange for his release?

Trump: You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re a low IQ person. You’re a dummy.

Piece of SHIT
💩

@vance
attacks the democratic free press while his ally Putin murdered children at a park in Ukraine this AM. Russia is supporting Iran to kill American soldiers - that’s okay with Vance. America

is angry.

Okay... it was throttled but we have no control over it.

The buck stops... Hey, look over there!

So Musk gets to dictate US foreign policy and military readiness? What the fuck.

Looks like IIDB was hosted in russian data center?
We know it's not ukrainian one, because ukrainian ones, unlike russian ones are totalled.

We have a few data centres in the west of Melbourne that Russia can have.

Well, if Ukrainian Clown can do that then Musk most certainly can too.

There's no way Musk took unilateral action in throttling Starshield, a US military asset. His ass would be criminally liable. Eventually we'll see a preemptive pardon for Musk brought to light. I'll bet he has this on file now.
