Huh. Measured on a per-capita basis, the US is better than average Nobel-wise. That surprised me.

I thought it was just an age thing. I have no idea what any of this crap is this individual keeps posting but I think I may come away more fulfilled watching Sharknado.

Those posts were the first things I saw after registering on the new site. Almost caused me to walk away. I have no idea where the humor is supposed to be.
This is the "Images that make you laugh" forum. We're adults here and it's simply not realistic to think any single image will make everyone laugh. However, we can all agree as to what is an image and what is not. In the future, all posts, including posts complaining about images which did not make someone laugh should be accompanied by an image of some degree of humor.

I do not think the complaint is that the images are not funny, therefore not appropriate in this thread.
The problem seems to be that the humor of the 'image' is somewhere within a shit-load of text. Maybe a thread for 'blog conversations that made youlaugh' would be a more beneficial spin-off from this thread?

It's also that people are sometimes posting huge strings of images full of text or strings of multi-panel comic strips and you have to wade through page after page of them to find the stuff they came here to laugh at.
It's a bit annoying to have to have to find the funny stuff buried between huge blocks of 10 multi-panel comic strips in a row or 10 images which are just blocks of text screengrabbed from somewhere. Perhaps some guidelines should be posted in a sticky.
