I had to check, and apparently this was (is?) a real thing. The Sami people sterilize reindeer by biting their testicles into mush. For whatever reason, this is traditionally done by the women. I imagine the men don't have the mental fortitude required, or maybe the women just happen to have more experience in testicle munching.
