I would agree, but I'm guessing it's an attempt to speak to the belief that Jesus is what makes people behave. And if you've been so conditioned by fear ideology that you are unable to act like more than a mongrel dog without believing the correct thoughts about Jesus, then I guess I can understand why someone would try sending this message. Sort of speaking to the insane on their own insane logic. If the people who came up with the message are also believers, it's also an admission of how the belief system is diseased.
