Woah. Not shocking though - horses have no love for coyotes either. At least mine don't. I saw one get into the corral one day, and my cutting horse pinned his ears back and ran at it, striking out with his front hooves. The coyote was just barely nimble enough to escape. And that is a very gentle horse who doesn't mind dogs, even if they walk under him. Surprised the hell out of me.
