I have a little problem with how migraine headaches are portrayed in this meme.

I occasionally get migraines. Severe migraines. The kind of migraine that has me lying on my side in a ball with my arms over my head to keep it from blowing up like in the movie Scanners. I have literally gone blind from a migraine.

I described what it felt like to a nurse in the ED once. "It's not so much pain but a massive pressure that comes from the back of my neck and runs over the top of my head to the front." All that is missing is Joe Pesci complaining about making him pop my eye out.

The nurse said "That's the best description of a migraine I have ever heard."

I was confused because three different people told me that I cured their migraines with massage.

So I asked my doctor about it. He said, "Those weren't migraines."
So now I am no longer confused.
