I find it hard to locate historic antecedents for the mass hysteria of Trumpism. We should be ashamed and alarmed that 70,000,000 Americans voted for this guy. It's a morbid sign for the future of our society.
 
I am old enough to remember the feminists protesting his inauguration, but a day AFTER the inauguration, so as not to artificially inflate estimates of his support.
My conservative coworkers scoffed that people would travel that far to do nothing productive.


But at least the thing the women-folk were protesting actually happened in this timeline...

A bunch of these goofballs will show up to protest. Not a million of them. There will be counter protests. There will be arrests and some of these morons will end up in jail. In the end, none of this will change a thing. There will be Nazi and confederate flags. Biden will still win when the last recount is finished, Trump is leaving, and a bunch of these turds will end up getting covid-19 for their troubles.

The dogs will bark and the circus will move on.

Reports show maybe 3,000 marchers or so. Far from a million. No reports of violence or arrests. But the day is young. So far what videos I have seen online are from a distance. I can't see if these gimps are wearing masks, but they certainly are not social distancing. Nor can I see if any are dressed in Nazi regalia, or waving Swastika flags. Trump's sweet little spokes liar, McNinny has been gushing out how thrilling it was to see one million marchers in Washington DC.

I drove by the town square where there is a minimaga going on. It's frightening. Every last one of them wouldn't bat an eye at disregarding this fair election just to keep Trump in office. I hope the Biden administration informs the public of the damage done during the Trump administration, in detail, just for clarification so there's understanding of the repercussions of Trump's actions/inaction. The fucking idiot is not even governing the country. What is wrong with these people? I don't think they have so little regard for their country. But I don't think they can separate patriotism from nationalism.
I want to have an understanding of what causes them to want so bad to have a world as they imagine that they woiuld disregard reality. What is this? How does a person function in such a manner?
