Minnesota has a new flag

If any proposed new flag of Illinois doesn't incorporate the images of the most famous historical residents of the state, Jake and Elwood Blues, and/or the state motto "We're on a mission from God", it should be summarily rejected.

Maine is moving ahead with a new flag design.

There is a ballot question for the November elections: use the winner or keep the existing flag -  Flag of Maine

The existing one looks very cluttered, while the new one is a revival of an old one: a pine tree on a light yellow background, with a dark blue star in the upper left.
