Full disclosure: I used to watch Oprah during the years when I stayed home with my kids when they were little. Her show aired at a time that was convenient for me to watch while I did things like fold laundry and meal prep. Not every show was earth shatteringly important but I never saw her show as trash talk. I’m certain I saw Donahue at some point when my mother would visit but again I don’t recall that as being ‘trash.’ Perhaps our definitions are not similar. I think my entire experience with the Kardashian franchise is when I saw commercials for whatever show they were promoting. Based on that little bit, I would classify that as ‘trash.’
