This is great. An attempt to take domestic violence seriously. I applaud the Treasury for putting Woman on the $10 bill.

RIP in Nancy Benoit.

Politically correct feminist decision to put a woman, any woman, on the bill...
What's wrong with Alexander Hamilton anyway?

Nothing. What's wrong with changing it up once in a while?

And they are keeping Hamilton on the bill as well.

There is general consensus that Jackson should go, so it is odd that Hamilton gets the boot. But he is one of the non-Presidents on the bills, so that could make sense.

Derec, poster child for the Status Quo.

Nothing. My problem is not that they said "we are changing bank note designs and we think X (who is a woman) should be on it because of her accomplishments" but "we should put a woman, doesn't matter so much which, on a bank note". See the difference? Kind of like in England where a 2nd rate female writer replaced Charles Darwin because they wanted a woman for political (correctness) reasons.

And they are keeping Hamilton on the bill as well.
Is the rest of the notes getting duos as well?

Does old currency ever expire? I think I have some $2 bills laying around, can I use those?

Yup, but who is saying the second thing? That'd be a misogynistic strawman.

Treasury department did by announcing that a woman will be on the $10, and not that a particular woman would be. That shows that their motivation is political correctness and not desire to honor a particular person.

I think that they should put a disabled, black, mentally handicapped lesbian with an eating disorder on it. Just to make sure that all their bases are covered.

Also, because one of those saved America from that invasion of radioactive chickens and she rarely gets the credit she deserves for that.

They should really reissue the $500 or the $1000.

Maybe put Beyoncé on it.

You had to bring chickens into this, didn't you.

England rotates the portraits on its bank notes with regularity. Darwin was to be rotated off. We've had mythological characters and animal portraits on our paper bills money in the past. We simply stopped rotating portraits once the smaller-sized currency came into use.

And they are keeping Hamilton on the bill as well.

It might not be a dual portrait, he could be on the back or in a water mark. And our notes don't have to be uniform.

Ask yourself a question - is a radioactive chicken currently gnawing through your skull so it can eat your brain? If not, you have one and only one person to thank and we all owe it to her to give her the recognition she deserves.

I know what you are getting at, but no, we are not putting Laureen Harper on our money.

But Dolly Parton is still alive. Only dead people can be on bills, so until then, we can't honor her for her sacrifices in stopping the radioactive chickens.

You didn't think those breasts were natural, did you?
