Nike is Anti-American

Yep, and when Trump said "Make America Great AGAIN," Trump implied America wasn't great. So, you agree with Trump's criticism?

A Fascist would NEVER say what Trump said.

Trump IS a fascist. And why aren't you complaining that Trump doesn't think America is great? I don't think you thought that through too well.

This is the stuff that makes right-wingers laugh hysterically. It's the same old nonsense about Trump:

"Racist"

"Bigot!"

"Orange man bad!"

"Fascist!"

"Criminal!"

Why do you think the NPC (non-playable character in a video game) meme got started? Because of the insane left who repeat the same lines!

What makes you think he isn't all those things?

Because the left cries all those things about everything, so you can't take them seriously if it is serious. Think of "the boy who cried wolf" story.

Isn't it funny how the people who live here complain about the country the most? Immigrants are literally dying for a chance to get into this country and leftists sit back and go, "This country sucks." I do wonder why there are no flocks of people to russia or Venezuela? Leftists say communism and socialism are so great, yet everyone comes here. No one goes there.

Weird, right?

What? It's precisely fascism. Saying the nation is in peril and that it needs to return to some golden age of greatness is textbook fascism, as is your cultlike worship of your dear orange leader.

So the leftists who say "America is in peril! We need to do something to make it better!" are fascists? Didn't think you'd ever admit it!

I realize that nuanced differences are difficult, but "make it better" is not the same as "return to some golden age of greatness".

I prefer a more charitable interpretation.

It’s like when people say “they don’t make cars like they used to,” and some smart ass says “thank goodness and starts citing improvements and old hazards.” There’s no doubt there have been improvements for both vehicles and our nation, but with a little charity (after all, he’s a business man turned president, not a linguist), some can glean that he attempts to capture the things from days of old that are no longer so great.

Halfie, 'NPC' is older than video games.

Of course, this is the <staff edit> who thinks Democrats invented slavery before the party was ever formed....

Goddammit!. I've warned twice about changing usernames to insults.

If it happens again, infractions will be will be issued.

When a leftist in the US says "we need to do something to make it better", do you really think they are proposing to go back to the way things were?
If not, then you should realize your response is off point. If you do, then we really have radically different notions of what leftists think or want.

Of course, this is the half-wit who thinks Democrats invented slavery before the party was ever formed....

They were the party of slaves. There's a joke in right-wing circles that when the Democrats get mad about something, we say, "The Democrats haven't been this mad since the Republicans took away their slaves!"

Still, doesn't make sense to blame them for creating slavery. Not physically possible to blamebthem for inventing slavery.

Uh huh. Almost as hilarious as claiming they invented it.

"Were" being the operative term.

Yeah, that sounds like the kind of profoundly ignorant shit a brain-dead right-wing cuck would think is funny. Do they also laugh at the fact that hundreds of thousands of Northern Democrats abandoned what the Jacksonian Democratic Party had become, precisely because it had degenerated into something "thoroughly autocratic and corrupt" exactly like what the Republican party of today has degenerated into?

No, of course not. That would require a functioning brain stem, at least one set of balls and something we on the left call "autonomy of thought."

There's a joke in left-wing circles that the Republicans of today are so fucking stupid that they don't realize they have become the Democrats of the 1840s.

The idea that if we went back in time, today's Republicans would switch to Democrats and today's Democrats would switch to Republican is asinine to think. Do you really think if Ben Shapiro went back in time to the 1960's, he would say, "I'm gonna be a Democrat because I want my slaves?" Of course not!

There is a 120 year difference between 1960 and 1840, so your response is based on numerical illiteracy.

Oh, so you DO understand how something can change over time. Here I thought you and your right-wing circles were all just complete driveling morons, because you thought it was funny that the anti-slavery Whigs were the ones who abolished slavery--the ones who formed the Republican party--which, of course, has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with today's Republican party, except the name, just as today's Democrats have absolutely nothing to do with the Southern Democrats of old, except for the name.

In fact, if the Lincoln Republicans were alive today, they would all bludgeon your right-wing circle jerking friends to death in their sleep for shitting all over the name--and the country--for voting for a racist, treasonous, p.o.s. rapist.

Now THAT'S fucking :hysterical: funny!

There's a joke in right-wing circles

Actually, there isn't. The right-wing have no idea what humour even is; They do know that human beings engage in it, so they try to do it themselves, but it's far too complicated for their simpleton world view, so it always falls flat.

The right-wing have never grasped the difference between 'insulting' and 'funny' - it's funny to make powerful and self-important people look ridiculous; But making out that people who are struggling, or who simply disagree with you, are ridiculous, isn't funny.

If they appear to both be the same thing, then that is a good indication that your brain doesn't process nuance well enough for you to be a comedian. As right-wing 'thinking' consists largely of riding roughshod over nuance, in favour of making out that everything is simple enough for idiots to grasp; and of disparaging people for their weaknesses, or for their mere holding of a different opinion, there can be no right-wing jokes.

Despite the apparently contradictory observation that the right-wing is itself a bad joke.

Go figure.

Did you miss Trump engaging in humor? Trump called Kim Jong "Little Rocket Man" lol even Obama couldn't come up with something that funny. Trump calls Joe Biden "Sleepy Joe." The humor is there. You just don't like it.

People on the left would claim Stephen Colbert and John Oliver are funny. But, people on the right say they are unfunny hacks. Trevor Noah is another one that is hated on the right. Humor is different for everyone. But, the main thing is that the left actually thinks that Colbert, Oliver, and Noah are honest journalists. They are not anything even close to a journalist.
