Nike is Anti-American

There's a joke in right-wing circles

Actually, there isn't. The right-wing have no idea what humour even is; They do know that human beings engage in it, so they try to do it themselves, but it's far too complicated for their simpleton world view, so it always falls flat.

The right-wing have never grasped the difference between 'insulting' and 'funny' - it's funny to make powerful and self-important people look ridiculous; But making out that people who are struggling, or who simply disagree with you, are ridiculous, isn't funny.

If they appear to both be the same thing, then that is a good indication that your brain doesn't process nuance well enough for you to be a comedian. As right-wing 'thinking' consists largely of riding roughshod over nuance, in favour of making out that everything is simple enough for idiots to grasp; and of disparaging people for their weaknesses, or for their mere holding of a different opinion, there can be no right-wing jokes.

Despite the apparently contradictory observation that the right-wing is itself a bad joke.

Go figure.

Did you miss Trump engaging in humor? Trump called Kim Jong "Little Rocket Man" lol even Obama couldn't come up with something that funny. Trump calls Joe Biden "Sleepy Joe." The humor is there. You just don't like it.

People on the left would claim Stephen Colbert and John Oliver are funny. But, people on the right say they are unfunny hacks. Trevor Noah is another one that is hated on the right. Humor is different for everyone. But, the main thing is that the left actually thinks that Colbert, Oliver, and Noah are honest journalists. They are not anything even close to a journalist.
I don't know anyone on "the left" who thinks Colbert, Olive and Noah are honest or real journalists. But, they are closer to being honest journalists than anyone of Fox News.

So, you're saying that when asked for humor, you think of insults.
Is this supposed to counter bilby, or demonstrate that he is right!

More insults? Dude, you made his point.
The Right does not know what a joke is.
They like their world view reinforced, and laugh, but it is not humor.

No, it's objectively and genuinely not funny.
People on the left would claim Stephen Colbert and John Oliver are funny. But, people on the right say they are unfunny hacks. Trevor Noah is another one that is hated on the right. Humor is different for everyone.

Not so. People without humour say that - because having never experienced humour, they don't see any difference between actual humour, and mere insult.

Humour requires intelligence. Right-wing attempts at humour are like watching toddlers moving chess pieces randomly around a board, occasionally shouting 'checkmate'. To someone who doesn't understand chess, this appears indistinguishable from a real chess match between grand masters. But to anyone who does understand chess, it's just painful to watch.

You don't even know how little you know. It would be sad, if it wasn't so dangerous.

As i said, when halfie says what the left thinks or says, he is wrong. Always.
The Left, Dems, atheists, muslims, the founding fathers....

So then nobody is funny? What do Colbert, Oliver, and Noah do? Insult the President! You just claimed insults are not considered humor. So, you have just admitted that those 3 are logically, not funny.

all you see are the insults. But any time anyone questions Trump, he and his posse take it as insults, whether they are or not.
It's just a hole in your undrrstanding of what humor is. Not your fault, like any disability.

If nothing else, humor should be a surprise. Like when you hear a joke 15 times and it stops being funny?
Trump's entire arsenal is insults. No one is surprised. And he never varies the wording. Crooked Hillary is always Crooked Hillary. The only neanderthals that laugh do so because they already hate Hillary, and no one is thinking, i never thought of it that way....

You really think that's all they do, don't you?

You see an insult; You hear the audience laughing; And you conclude "insulting people is funny, and funny is insulting people".

Just like moving pieces around the board and occasionally saying 'checkmate' is playing chess. You don't have the ability to comprehend anything deeper or more intelligent; So you simply cannot comprehend that it even exists.

As I said, it would be terribly sad, if it wasn't so dangerous.

And when right-wingers made joke about Obama, the left wasn't laughing. They claimed it was insults. But, you guys make jokes about Trump, and you claim it's different from insults. The poster on this board who always refers to Trump as "His Flatulence." Funny, or insulting? How is "His Flatuelence" any different from "little rocket man" or "sleepy joe" or "Pocahontas warren?"

None of those are particularly funny. They aren't meant to be funny. They're just insults.

Look, it's quite charming of you to try, but you really are out of your depth trying to understand this.

I would explain it to you, but I haven't yet finished teaching my dog Quantum Field Theory.

I think it is pretty clear you have no idea what Colbert, Oliver or Noah do, because all 3 do much more than insult the President.

It also should be pointed out Obama had the balls to turn up to every WHCD, something Trump is too much of a pussy to do.

No one considers them to be journalists. In fact if you were to ask them, they would probably say, "Why are you comparing us to journos? Isn't that more a critique of journalists today considering all we do is tell jokes?" An obscure Jewish comedian from New York asked Tucker Carlson that very question a few years back.

You know who else the left thinks is funny? Bill Maher. Yet, he claimed that a female teacher having sex with an underage male student is perfectly fine. He basically defended underage rape. Yet, no leftists were boycotting him. His audience full of sheep is still as strong as ever. It's almost like the left abandons their principles when a leftist does something they disagree with.

There was also racism in that video you posted. He said, "Fox News terrifying white people."

Imagine a white person saying, "We got CNN terrifying black people!" Racism would be screamed from the Heavens.

either that, or you are forming a false equivalence. Bill Maher also is fed up with the leftest of them all.. I am starting to like him, actually. He repeats many sentiments I post here... I'm getting a little suspicious, actually. Is "boycotting" the level of disapproval you are looking for? What has the far right boycotted (besides speaking the truth, that is)? I actually remember the show where he disagreed with a guest on the show along the lines you said... that Male adults preying on young girls is a bad thing, but female adults preying on uoung boys is not as bad a thing. The audience disagreed and booed him. That has been happening more and more lately... most recent example I saw was him disagreeing that "concentration camps" is an appropriate term to use regarding the ICE detention centers. His point of view was that of an old Jew that will not, under any circumstance, dilute the evil that was Nazism, by using any associated term with anything else. Totally a jewish thing.
Anyway, I think you may like Bill now more than in the past. Give him a listen and see what you think for yourself.

Just admit humour is an anathema to you. Your life will be so much more comfortable.

It's good to know that you have tacitly retreated from your bullshit argument that Left get's all its news from comedians though. And Bill Maher is a cunt who can dish it out, but is too much of a pussy to take it.
