Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh mocked The Ohio State University's new policy telling students to get clear, verbal consent before having sex. Limbaugh went on to ask guys "how many of you guys, in your own experience with women, have learned that no means yes if you know how to spot it?"

"Let me tell you something in this modern world — that is simply, that's not tolerated," Limbaugh continued. "People aren't going to try to understand that one. I mean it used to be a cliche. It used to be part of the advice young boys were given. See that's got to change. We have got to change the way we raise men."

Limbaugh then pivoted back to the OSU instructions and specifically that permission should be given every step of the way.

"Why do you think permission every step of the way — aren't these just lawsuits just waiting to happen if one of these steps are not taken," Limbaugh said.

This from a man with enough ex wives to start a basketball team. Reading women's signals ain't his strongsuit.

Of course, this also means we have to teach women differently, too. Note that Rush never noted that.

"If you want it, and you coyly say 'no, stop' and they DO, you only have yourself to blame."

That's Antioch College ridiculous policy from the 90s all over again. We are moving backwards as a society. It's simply ignoring non-verbal communication and subtle hints between people having sex.

So now if a man (and only men, no danger of any womyn being persecuted under this policy) don't ask for permission every step of the way they are "rapists". I hope this leads to many lawsuits by innocent men wrongfully punished that they bankrupt the university. Because a college that capitulates to forces of extremism doesn't deserve to survive.

What are the subtle hints, Derec?

What are the subtle hints, Derec?
For example the case that happened in Athens, OH where a drunk guy was giving a drunk girl oral sex against a Chase Bank window. Her grabbing his hands and pushing his head toward her crotch would indicate, non-verbally, that she is consenting to it.

But of course, not to those (i.e. the feminazis) that want to require verbal "yes" to every individual step. What's next? Written and notarized?

This conversation has no place in my reality.
I've never had a woman say "no" other than for reasons of comfort. If she did, I would have no problem standing down. If I needed it badly, I know where to touch myself the way I like it. And that is in the Wal-Mart parking lot. :tonguea:

What is so hard about this topic?

You mean like down and out of the way? And you do know what a hand-job is? And what drunk is?

Ah, but you forget that drunks never suffer an impingement to their motor skills. And other drunks are always perfectly calibrated to interpret the motives behind any action.

You are right, I forgot that alcohol enhances the senses and motor skills.

wait a minute, do you mean to say that consent for a handjob is the same as consent for coitus? Jeez, remind me to never buy anything from Derec.

Derec, have ever been in a situation where a woman said "no" to you, but you were convinced she meant "yes".

If so, please share the signals and body language you saw, however subtle.

I have to admit to being uninformed on this kind of thing, because although my sexual experience goes back to 1971, which includes 3 wives and a handful of girlfriends, I can't recall a single girl/woman who said "no" and truly meant "yes." It's possible I missed the signal.

Please help me here. I don't want to make this mistake in the future.

I don't think "Because Rush Limbaugh said so" would be a very convincing defense in a criminal trial.

No, not like that. There was really no question she wanted it.
And you do know what a hand-job is? And what drunk is?
I do not know where hand-jobs enter into that case. I also know what drunk is and they both were it.
Were you one of the involved parties? and have you never pleased a woman with your fingertips and left her satisfied without asking anything in return?

Not to mention how it enhances judgement, perception and social skills such as the ability to read nonverbal cues.

Oh, and sexual performance.

No, but the Ohio State policy in question here goes much further than that, does it.
It requires verbal consent (i.e. an explicit "yes") for every step taken.
Whereas consent can be given non-verbally as well. If a guy goes toward a woman's breasts and she undoes the bra she has given consent. If he goes for her vagina and she responds by going for his dick there is consent even though none of them gave unambiguous, verbal, clear consent.

None of your fucking business.

I'll take that as a no. Sorry, but we talk more freely about sex in my circles, so I am not embarrassed if I haven't had the same experiences as others.
