There are 613 directives derived from the Old Testament. If it is the inspired word of god, which ones are Christians supposed to follow?

How many California laws and statutes does a man living in Dallas have to follow?

Wow, you really got me there. I am discombobulated and at a total loss for words.

You asked for a Christian response.
The answer is the same to both of our questions.
There is no contradiction to expose there.

Your response in return provides no reasoning just insult.
Really?

That depends; did the Texas legislature enact a statute that says something like:

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the application of California law in Texas, till all be fulfilled"? (Signed into law by Governor Matthews, in May 1918).

Because if so, you are going to need a seriously good lawyer to get away with ignoring California law while in Dallas.

ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer

I dunno, even as a atheist, I find your question to be of questionable purpose. Have you not heard of the NT and/or very standard Christian theology? Remez's response is a reasonable response to what appears to be a snarky OP.

Mark 12:30-31New International Version (NIV)

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Two impossibilities.

Well, what if your neighbor happens to be a masochist? Or, you are? If you self-loathe, should you attack your neighbor?

It's about asking us to do things that not even Jesus was able to do.
