It's one thing to be a TV personality, or for your dad to be a TV personality and an E list celebrity, but no light shines brighter or hotter than the one focused on the POTUS and all of his dealings.

One minute I think Trump knew this and didn't want to win, but got elected by freak accident. The next I'm thinking these people were too stupid to understand what they were getting themselves into.

It's so perplexing to try and understand what Trump was thinking. Sure, he's a buffoon and utterly unqualified, but he does know about media exposure better than 99.9% of the people on the planet. Considering that, the idea that he didn't think he would win and didn't want to win explains everything. This picture may say a lot:

Maybe Trump was just tired? Maybe the reality of what he'd done finally hit him in that moment?

When he was in bad financial trouble because he's a shitty businessman, his illegal activities propped up his empire. He's gone deeper and deeper down that hole, and because he's so stupid, he has no idea how deep he himself is actually into this quagmire. He is THE PERFECT type of puppet for these kinds of people. He makes money off of their dealings, they get their money, and Trump thinks he's a brilliant businessman.

Kremlin Launches Twitter Flash Mob To Free Alleged Russian Agent Maria Butina Troll Horde

Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs [Propaganda] has launched a Twitter flash mob [Troll Horde] to free Russian national Maria Butina following U.S. charges that she conspired to influence American politics while covertly working for the Kremlin.

It’s an intriguing strategy by a foreign government, though perhaps not surprising, given the U.S. intelligence finding that the Kremlin manipulated social media during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

The ministry urged people to show support for Butina by changing their Twitter profile photos to a portrait of Butina posted on the ministry’s official Twitter account and Facebook page on Thursday. Those pages feature an image of Butina, 29, with the hashtag #FreeMariaButina beneath.
