Conclusion

There will be a long legal battle over the President’s declaration of a national emergency along the border to build some of his border fence. Regardless of the outcome, there is no good reason to declare the border a national emergency.

SCOTUS will ultimately decide whether the boy president gets his way or not. It amounts to a flip of a coin imho as to being able to predict the outcome. But there is certainly no National emergency, rather just a political emergency for the boy prez.
 
Congress can terminate the declaration without any courts. If the House votes to terminate, the Senate must then also take a vote, which would only need a majority.

That's true, it's anybody's guess how all that will turn out.

SCOTUS would be the place that established that a previous president doesn't get line-item veto of submitted budgets?
It would make no sense that the Constitution won't ler him kill the budget piecemeal, but lets him write his own without any approval.

There's absolutely no requirement that Supreme Court rulings must make sense.

It's nice if they do; But there's no way to force the court to be nice.

Some varieties of tuna and some other species of fish have or are about to become extinct through ignorance and greed as well as claimed cultural reasons.
 
What court is going to hear "I wanted to do it faster" along with "I expect to be sued in the 9the circuit and lose, then lose again in Federal court, the go to the Supreme Court"... and - WHUT? That's going to be FASTER? Pretext piled upon non-credible pretext - if ANY court allows this shit, we are pretty much doomed to becoming a dictatorship.
 
There are already so many lawsuits against this fake emergency, that Trump will be long gone, even if he were to be reelected, before this stupid wall ever becomes a reality. The lawsuits come from such diverse places as the ACLU to land owners along the boarder. I have no doubt that some of them are or were Trump supporters.

Of course, Trump is already using the wall in his new campaign, but now it's "Finish the Wall", instead of build the wall. That's the fake wall that only Trump supporters see, because they are so brainwashed that they believe whatever nonsense comes out of their leader's mouth.

The just might. I don't know that a court is going to want to define what an emergency must be.
