Well, there's a local Chinese place that sells "Chicken paw". Chicken feet. Complete with toes. Strange in that they also sell "Duck feet". Why is one feet and one paw?
 
I'm sure we've all heard it: "Jesus saves"

Got it in the hello of an online chess game. But it triggered a thought: Why does Jesus save? Can he simply not ensure his system doesn't crash, why does he need to save?

You keep arousing me to nostalgia.

I had been an empty nester for about 6 years, so no reason to watch Shaun the Sheep, when I started work at a remote cattle station.

There, they had a charming tradition that the whole family had to be present by 6.55pm so they could all sit together and watch Shaun, before dinner.

I loved it so much that I instituted the same tradition when I started to care for Ethan and Jayden, a few years later. It was really the only time that the boys got with their Dad, while I was there, but it was something.


P.S. You don't need to name them, they won't come anyway, unless you have food. When you have food, yell "Chook! Chook! Chook!" and they'll be all over you like a rash. :)

You'd have to join to figure out what it's about. Unless "Hold my beer, I want to fuck it" is a common saying in your cohort.
Is that something you commonly say?
Never in my 70+ years have I heard that from any source.
