Things that make you laugh...

Fb sent me a message. I wonder if they’ll delete this picture of their own message.

I also wonder why they haven’t suspended DJT.

Makes me laugh and makes me roll my eyes.

I put a sign on the front door where my wife is babysitting our granddaughter and daughter.

Deliveries to the side door with an arrow pointing the direction of the side door. The side door is the door you'd see if you stopped in the driveway. The front door is hard to see and hard to get to.

Here is my sign

But if they're not ringing the bell they probably don't care. It's at your place.

I wouldn't ring the bell either. Most here do not. That's just asking for trouble. I'm sure they're loaded up with enough packages to keep them busy all day as it is. The last thing I'd want is to be stopped by someone quick to the door wanting to give me specific instruction on how they want their packages delivered or worse shot at for going to the wrong house.

I wish the USPS lady wouldn't ring the bell and then wait for me to answer. She's not even asking for a signature.
Not dressed to receive. Leave it!

There seem to be three categories:

1) Leave it. Some companies ring the bell as they leave, some don't.

2) Ring and wait, they are required to deliver it to a person but a signature is not required. I have had delivery people specifically say they needed to know I was aware of it.

3) Signature required.

Fortunately, for the most part I can ignore dressed. We have a security door with an approximation of a solar screen on it. It covers enough of the area that it's like any other high density screen--effectively, one way only. You can see from dark to light but not from light to dark. People outside during the day can't even see I'm there, let alone what I'm wearing. And I can retrieve anything reasonably light set next to the door without exposing myself.
