Of course it's true and this was always a possibility. It's was a sad state of affairs that it came down to a choice between Clinton or Trump but this is where we are. We will just need to get on with it.

Why do I compare it to '04? Because Bush was weak then.

Sometimes, when you run against a very strong incumbent, you don't waste a good candidate on them, you put up someone credible that you're willing to waste. Call that person "Mondale" or "Dole". But when the candidate IS beatable you put up someone who can beat them. That person wasn't Kerry. Think Reagan v Carter or Clinton v. Bush.

There were no very strong Republicans this time around. A good Democrat could have beaten any of them. Instead you guys chose Hillary, and now we have Trump.

I blame the Democratic Party for Trump's victory, and you guys deserve the blame.

I told you the “so what”. Making reason the premise on which you think you’ll win, or at least not lose to idiots, is itself idiotic.

I wonder about the intelligence level of anyone that comprehends humans so badly. You sell your product by knowing what people want, not by stupidly expecting them to make the wisest choice. If humans were really the "wise ape" that they named themselves to be, all the world would be extremely different than it is.

I think the thing that really changed in the polls, Republicans ended up swallowing their integrity, pride, values and voted for Trump. The polls in general showed lesser Republican support for Trump than Democrat support for Clinton.

We mostly supported Sanders in here. I think Clinton made a mistake going into Arizona and Georgia. Should have fought and just stuck around in the Midwest.
