Trump VS COVID-19 Threat

I really only have one question for you at this point Half-Life: when are you going to change your name to Dunning-Kruger?

"Censored? Vox Takes References To China Out Of Coronavirus Explainer"

Vox’s video, which has more than 18 million views, was initially titled “Why new diseases keep appearing in China.” It is now titled: “How wildlife trade is linked to coronavirus.”

One of the most leftist sites on the internet right there. Maybe Trump wrote the article, right? :rotfl:

There's personal responsibility to be had. It's called being a man.

Donald Trump: "I'm not responsible."

He's not. As has been pointed out, Trump was enacting travel bans while Fauci was telling us to go party on cruise ships. Imagine if he listened to Fauci? Way more deaths. I never heard Fauci apologize or take responsibility, have you?

What if it was reversed? What if Fauci was telling us to enact travel bans and Trump was telling us to go party on cruise ships? How would the media write that story?

The president can't close Ohio schools or enforce "social distancing."

Trump:"When somebody is president of the United States, the authority is total."

"I don't need Congress. I have a phone and a pen." - Obama

When Obama does it, it's "HAHA oh that funny Obama!"

When Trump does it, "SOUND THE ALARM!! END OF THE WORLD!!!"

National Interest is a leftist site? Perhaps we should consult Wikipedia:
 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_National_Interest

The National Interest (TNI) is an American bimonthly conservative international affairs magazine published by the Center for the National Interest, which is a Washington, D.C.-based public policy think tank established by former U.S. President Richard Nixon on January 20, 1994

Yes, Trump could have written the article, or at least told someone who knows how to write at higher than a third grade level to write it, given the source.

Deflection. What Obama has done has nothing to do with Trump taking responsibility for his words and deeds.

When Fauci was telling us to all go on a cruise.
i see thst once more you cannot use a direct quote, because it would spoil your obfuscation.
Fauci did not tell all of us to go on a cruise.
if we really wanted to, Trump was enacting travel bans from white countries, despite being accused of being a white supremacist.
...just not countries where he has business interests.
Probably why most of the infections in New York trace back to Europe.

...asks the person(?) who said

First, who said that anyone ever EXPECTED the PINO to do anything?
Second, an actual leader would have immediately asked "what about tomorrow or next week or next month?"
He didn't do that. No, he didn't do ANYTHING. He went golfing.

Nobody thought it was a big deal. The media said there was nothing to worry about. Popular Democrats said there was nothing to worry about. They even encouraged us to go out and hug Asian Americans because there was no fear. Dr. Fauci said we could all go on a cruise if we really wanted to.

Then a few weeks later everyone started blaming Trump for saying that there's no problem.:picardfacepalm:

That is absolutely not true.

On Jan. 18, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar first briefed Trump on the threat of the virus in a phone call, the New York Times reports. Trump made his first public comments about the virus on Jan. 22, saying he was not concerned about a pandemic and that "we have it totally under control."

On Jan. 27, White House aides met with then-acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney to try to get senior officials to take the virus threat more seriously, the Washington Post reports. Joe Grogan, the head of the White House Domestic Policy Council, warned it could cost Trump his re-election.

On Jan. 29, economic adviser Peter Navarro warned the White House in a memo addressed to the National Security Council that COVID-19 could take more than half a million American lives and cause nearly $6 trillion in economic damage.

On Jan. 30, Azar warned Trump in a subsequent call that the virus could become a pandemic and that China should be criticized for its lack of transparency, per the Times. Trump dismissed Azar as alarmist and rejected the idea of criticizing China.

You know, Halfie, you're big on assigning conflicting quotes to the mythical The Left as a whole. Like here, where you pretend everyone who supported Obama had the same reaction.

But thst doesn't work to deflect directly contradictory positions Bonespurs has taken about the Presidency between when Obama held it, and when The Clownstick holds it. No matter what anyone said or felt about Obama, or Reagan, pr even if Hillary had won the office, that doesn't defend FFvC's total, cowardly, inept inability to accept any responsibility for events that occurred through his own actions, inaction, or whining.

Good Bast, man, if HE isn't man enough to face the truth, what does that say about his blind supporters?

Weird, all that advice during January and the media was claiming until March that there was no problem. Pelosi encouraged people to go to Chinatown in San Francisco at the end of February. Fauci said we can all go on a cruise if we want on March 9.

No apologies from them.

"Trump should've acted sooner!" indeed. Even after Trump did a travel ban, the NY Times was screaming about how stupid a travel ban is because the virus is no big deal.

Vox even had to delete this tweet from January 31:

“What is this #coronavirus? It’s part of a family of viruses that attack the respiratory system. Should I travel during the outbreak? The CDC and the State Department advise avoiding China for now. Is this going to be a deadly pandemic? No.”

Funny how history is being rewritten now. If the Dems were in charge, they'd probably be partying with Fauci on a cruise ship knocking back a couple of beers.

Keith, he enacted a travel ban a month (feb 2) before Pelosi started encouraging people to go to Chinatown (feb 27) and Fauci was telling us to go on a cruise if we want. (Mar 9)

Thank God Trump didn't listen to the experts.

How would you guys view the situation if Obama enacted a travel ban on Feb 2 and Sarah Palin was encouraging people to go to Chinatown on Feb 27 and a republican doctor told us to go cruising on Mar 9?

No rewriting necessary because the administration didn't share the warnings received with the media and Pelosi. You might have a point if the information was shared with those entities but it wasn't. Trump knew, his staff knew. They blew off the warnings. No amount of blaming others for being wrong will change that. The administration fucked up bigly and many people died and will die because of that.

In that case, I am perplexed as to why you referred to a video as an article (the Vox piece in question is a video), and mentioned something snarky about Trump possibly having written it when videos are not a written form of communication. Of course this is just another one of those examples of you being wrong about everything, in this case having misidentified a video as an article.

OMG! Vox deleted a tweet while at the same time notifying everyone that they had done so, and why. THE HORROR!
the fucking article Halfie linked said:
“We have deleted a tweet from Jan 31 that no longer reflects the current reality of the coronavirus story,” tweeted Vox’s account

Fox News was just blasting the hypocrites. "The Trump haters are saying, "Trump doesn't have the authority to re-open the economy!" yet the same people say "he should've acted sooner and closed the economy all on his own!"

lol

Do you ever actually address the post you respond to?

Respond to that or STFU.
