Trump's Appointments

Now he can tap MJG for something.
The only position I can think of, for which she's qualified, would be in the new Bureau of Transgender Identification. BTI needs someone who can spot a transgendered person by, for instance, seeing a fierce brow line or a certain Cro Magnon chin structure on a 'woman'. This would be second or even first nature for our Marj.

His resignation including the next term.

“I hereby resign as U.S. representative of Florida’s 1st Congressional District effective immediately. And I do not intend to take the oath of office for the same office in the 119th Congress to pursue the position of attorney general in the Trump administration,” Gaetz said in the letter.
I'm curious how binding that is. The context would be he is Attorney General, so obviously not in Congress. But now that is over, can he rescind it? For the House seat in the next Congress, I think it is a gray area. It isn't in the Constitution and may be governed by obscure Parliamentary rules.

One thing is for certain, if Gaetz is out of Congress for good, this would be one of the best things Trump has done as his role of President Elect!
Seems ambiguous to me. "I do not intend to take the oath of office for the same office in the 119th Congress to pursue the position of attorney general in the Trump administration" could mean that he is quitting in order to pursue the AG post; Or it could mean that he is intending to take the oath of office, but will do so for reasons other than the pursuit of the AG post.
