The interesting thing about House is the running themes underlying the series, with the internal interactions of the cast. The price to pay is the monotony of the repetition. Maybe it’s lupus?Started watching House recently. While I like the cast, the overall effect is deja vu. It seems one episode would have sufficed. After nearly a season, every show seems the same. It's like listening to The Edge play guitar.

Also, since when do doctors break into patients' homes to conduct searches? This has happened in at least four episodes so far.
Or Lyme disease perhaps?*Maybe it's lupus?"
I tried it, but couldn't get into the main character (I was able to do that with The Wire) and the plots were repetitive and unrealistic even by tv medical program standards. With him being wrong so often, it is hard to understand how he could be so damn smug.Started watching House recently. While I like the cast, the overall effect is deja vu. Bit sorry you invested in the Monty Python. I loved them and The Goodies but don't feel they aged well.My DVDs for Monty Python's Flying Circus arrived. All seasons. I don't know when I'll get around to watching them.
I've purchased the DVDs for several classic shows over the last few months. No Idea when I'll watch them
MASH
All In the Family
Monty Python
Are you Being Served.
Faulty Towers.
I'll get to them some day.
Newest season of The Boys.
Despite all the criticism of it by both the left and the right, it's still a good show and very entertaining. Yes, it's very political, but it always has been. The right hates it because it's a note for note reflection of Republican politics. Far leftists are disenchanted because they see the show as not being critical enough of the right.
The formula is getting a little stale though, but that can be said for nearly any show that runs for more than three seasons. I'd like to see them wrap up in this one because I think they've wrung everything they can out of it.
If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend giving it a shot,.
I like how the right-wing finally caught on. Hey... wait a second...Newest season of The Boys.

The show isn't that good. But I can't stop watching it. Effectively there is Starlight / Huey and then Homelander. The trouble is, the character development has been rather crap the entire run of the show. No one has grown at all. They might have for a bit in an episode or maybe even part of a season, but in the end, it is the same group of hapless characters (it is not The Wire). Also, invulnerability seems to vary from time to time. The formula is getting a little stale though, but that can be said for nearly any show that runs for more than three seasons. Huey's been well developed; from a do nothing wimp to a largely realistic freedom fighter who's still shocked at it all. Starlight went from starry eyed naive girl to rebelling against the system/corporation. Butcher has gone from a crude and gruff but noble fighter to someone circling the drain. Much of the same goes for the antagonists. Many went from utter sycophants to phony sycophants who have to hide their fear and growing doubts about what's going on. Night Train went from arrogant killer to giving up his life for core principles.I like how the right-wing finally caught on. Hey... wait a second...Newest season of The Boys.

I recomend Season 1, Episode 4.Started watching House recently.
A problem I've had with it is it seems to reuse the plot where the team gets imprisoned often, and they have to escape. It can be fun sometimes but it also can get old. There are some episodes I enjoyed though.Stargate SG1 does not hold up well. Its a bit hokey and the dialog is not very good.
Don't know how they kept a straight face.
The stoic Tilk and Carter who goes to other planets in combat wearing eye makeup.
I have no streaming services, only broadcast DTV. The scifi channel Comet broadcasts SG1 Monday-Friday.

Another menrion for For All Mankind. The show makes what it poissoble believeable.Apple TV is the bomb! We're watching:
1. For all mankind; 4.5/5
2. Pluribus, season 1: 5/5
3. Widow's Bay, S1 through episode 3; so far 5/5
That isn't really being developed. He isn't all that hardened, and he is the heart of the group, period, as in the only heart other than Starlight.Huey's been well developed; from a do nothing wimp to a largely realistic freedom fighter who's still shocked at it all.I like how the right-wing finally caught on. But they've exposed her as being vindictive as a pageant contestant. Again, they've been a bit inconsistent with her. Had they nixed the pageant thing, then yes, she'd be the only person (other than Homelander) that has gone anywhere.Starlight went from starry eyed naive girl to rebelling against the system/corporation.
He has always been going down the drain.Butcher has gone from a crude and gruff but noble fighter to someone circling the drain.
The entire show, except Huey and part of Starlight are antagonists. Frenchie is one of the worst people in the entire show. The Deep has always been a weak syncophant. His current existence makes no sense. Homelander has taken out much more important people for less. Plot events just happen, sometimes to shock the viewer, sometimes just randomly, without much of any purpose. Huey being alive makes no sense. The all powerful and unstoppable guy takes out the non-supporting characters.Much of the same goes for the antagonists. Many went from utter sycophants to phony sycophants who have to hide their fear and growing doubts about what's going on.
The character development has been inconsistent, sometimes disappearing all together. A season would wrap around and then nothing would have actually changed anywhere.I think part of the reason the show's been so good is because of character development.
